In 2014, Massachusetts Police Detective Kevin Burnham retired after 43 years on the job with the Springfield Police Department.

Local media celebrated him as a dedicated cop who could have retired ten years earlier, but chose to stay on out of pure love for his job.

Now it appears as if he stayed on solely for the purpose of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the department's evidence room.

In yet another reminder why we should never call police to assist with a suicidal person, Arizona police shot and killed a suicidal woman after responding to calls from people who expected they would save her from suicide.

The woman was Danielle Jacobs, 24, who suffered from Asperger's syndrome, a type of autism which increases the chances of depression.

Jacobs last year made international news by posting videos about her condition and how her adopted dog, Samson, helped her cope with it.

Besides, even if his client did send her a photo of his penis, according to Guzman's attorney, it's not that big of a deal because pictures of penises can be found all over the internet.

A California man who video recorded a TSA screener running her hands up and down his 10-year-old daughter's body, placing special attention to the girl's buttocks, breasts and inner thighs, and running her hands inside the girl's dress, is accusing the TSA of going overboard during the intensive pat-down at a North Carolina airport last month.

But the Transportation Security Administration said they were only trying to keep everybody safe.

After all, they say, the girl was trying to smuggle a three-ounce pouch of Capri Sun onto the plane.

And that could have proven dangerous.

Adding to tensions that have reached a boiling point in the Windy City, Chicago police admitted they “accidentally” shot and killed a 55-year-old woman while trying to kill a 19-year-old man early Saturday morning.

But police expressed their “deepest condolences” to the family of Bettie Jones, explaining they had to kill Quintonio LeGrier because he had come charging at them with a baseball bat, making them fear for their lives.

And she just happened to be in the way.
