Threading the Needle (Like a Boss)
Brother +Keith Cramer needed to put the hard top on his Jeep the other day. We had stored it in a currently unused company freezer. I told Keith he should just back the Jeep in because I didn't want to lug the heavy top out. "I don't think it'll fit," he said. "Sure it will," I assured him. ;-)
There was about a half inch clearance.

It's not that I distrust a six-year old Hollywood actor, but I HAD to know for myself -- for SCIENCE!
I had everything I needed to make it totally scientific. A super nice scale, some heads, and a camera.
Turns out, that little guy is a liar. +Scott Cramer's big ol' head weighs over 13 pounds! Almost a half pound more than my more moderately sized cranium. (hmmm... big head +Scott Cramer -- +Jim Gomes should take notice!)
And, I have no idea what's going on with +Kristi Fahlsing's melon -- Less than 6 pounds!?!
Turns out the Jerry MaGuire kid had no idea what he was talking about.

I woke up this morning to an email from +Scott Cramer containing only the words "Sometimes, I just can't help myself." and this cartoon. It's taken me a little longer than planned to get this posted.
I rec'd a mysterious birthday package a little over a month ago (post here: http://goo.gl/VdN4K). I was excited to be the owner of my very own Pee and Poo T-shirt! Let me tell you, it's a serious conversation starter!
The next day, I rec'd a postcard inquiring, "Are you ready for Number 2?" I have to admit, my curiosity was piqued, and I wondering exactly what to expect next. I approached my mailbox with caution for the next couple weeks.

No, it's not Friday, it's Tuesday but I was at two tech conferences last week, #nextconf in Berlin and #tnw2013 conference in Amsterdam for #nextweb so I wasn't able to do my post last Friday.

Fifty-six years of tornado tracks! I'm a huge sucker for this kind of data visualization!
For reference, I live in northeast Indiana. Yeah, the part obliterated by blue lines. All of these tracks, and I still have never seen a tornado in person!
