A view no more? Rumor is that the ladder rungs attached to this log have been removed... not sure why? I know the city of Kanarraville has been wanting to making to make this place more and more difficult to get to. Removing the rungs would make it a little more difficult but still very possible to get past this point...

Finally made it again to one of my favorite spots near Escalante to shoot some stars... got all the way out there and realized I had forgotten my cable release.. had to settle for my camera's built in intervalometer... that limited me to only stacking 9 shots here at Metate Arch

Because of the great water year last year, there was more water here at Kanarra Creek in the late summer than there was during spring runoff this year. Interesting to see how the falls can take on different looks during different times of year with different volumes of water
