Google Plus Feature Idea:
"Mark as unread" or "Save for later" on a post. A feature I really enjoy about the soon to be gone Google Reader is marking it as unread so I can check it out later. If I could do the same thing with Google+ and be able to see a post in another tab or somewhere it would help me to replace Google Reader with the new layout. Just an idea #googleplusupdate

As an almost daily user of Google Maps for navigation in my car I am interested to see what new routes I might discover to places I commonly drive. Got to love saving 5 minutes driving here and there.

How Microsoft thinks that they can offer ads on top of the content and products of Google I do not know. Wasn't that video Microsoft released bashing Google for making money from advertising? Now they are asking to put them in instead?

So while I was on vacation I had 2 drives on my raid 10 array become independent drives. This has broken my raid array and does not allow me to boot. From a Linux boot CD I am able to assemble the raid as a softraid and access all of the files. I am currently doing a DD of the softraid disk to an external drive and will be restoring it back to the drives after I rebuild the raid array. Any input on whether I will run into problems doing this method? I have done something similar to this before, but, mainly was recovering files and not trying to have it boot after.

Why are we not placing a telescope on the moon? No atmosphere. You would think they could get some amazing pictures if they could get one up there. Keeping the lens clean would be a major issue.

Improving accessibility in Hangouts

Accessibility is something we care a lot about on the Hangouts team. The Hangout Captions app, for example, enables live transcription services for the deaf and hard of hearing (http://goo.gl/4RujF). And "Take the Floor" makes it easier for sign language speakers to do a Hangout together (http://goo.gl/chyKS). Today we're rolling out two accessibility improvements in Hangouts - a Sign Language Interpreter app, and a fuller set of keyboard shortcuts. 

1) Using the Sign Language Interpreter app, deaf or hard of hearing users who prefer sign language can invite interpreters to speak and sign for them during a Hangout. They'll always see their interpreter at the top right of the window, and they'll become the focus of the Hangout whenever their interpreter speaks for them. I have been frustrated with using Thunderbird on my Google apps and Gmail accounts. The lack of automatic integration with the contacts, calendar, and tasks has annoyed me. After some searching I have come across an application that uses all of these features and is fast. Give eM Client a try and let me know how you like it. It is for Windows users only. :(

Cable and Satellite are such outdated technologies. Why are we not using an internet streaming device and subscribing to each channel that we choose individually? Cable companies become internet service providers only that can sell you hardware and perhaps a payment gateway if that is what it takes.

My sister and her family live in Papua New Guinea. This is something fairly common. My brother-in-law works with couples to try to teach the men that they shouldn't kill/disfigure their wives when they are upset or want to divorce them.
