Scaling a ridge on a hike just above SeaLife Park in windward Oahu. The slant in the photo gives the viewer a sense of how the photographer felt....like the world was tilting!

I was inspired to post this photo in anticipation of today's forthcoming hike a Ka'au Crater...with three magnificent waterfalls. This however, is Manoa Falls - one of the more accessible and most popular waterfall hikes on the island.

"Quadruple Rainbow"
I took this shot of Rainbow Bridge in Haleiwa with a seemingly omnipresent rainbow in the background. The reflection in the puddle gave it the appearance of a quadruple - or 4 different - rainbows. I consider this one of my favorite shots - especially of the iconic landmark on the North Shore.

Beneath the G+ Waters..
Within Google Plus, various Ecosystems have developed. Technology Ecosystems, "I'm using-this-instead-of-The-Face-Space" Ecosystems, Celebrities and their Followers, etc..
In this post, I'm mostly referring to the Photography Ecosystem within Google Plus.
At the top of the Google Plus food chain, you have people, I will call them "emerging industry leaders." These, are photographers, artists, bloggers who have earned large follower counts through hard work, innovation & constant contact within the community. They all seem to know each other, which is kinda weird but whatever. All are really super-accessible and most are more than happy to commune with others on ideas, techniques.

"Into the Blue"
I absolutely love this hike. I took this 6 photo HDR image on the way to Kaena Point North on the island of Oahu. There's about a 2 mile shore-walk in a state park that typically culminates in visiting some Hawaiian Monk Seals. Plenty of fishing, off-roading, and nature with tranquil views like this - coupled with being only 5 miles from my house make this a favorite destination of mine!
