Google Plus Direct Posts

Sending posts directly to people is considered very SPAM like! It goes against social media etiquette and is something you do not need to be doing!

I know this message has been said over and again but with new people joining Google Plus everyday it needs to be revisited constantly it seems.

When getting ready to make a post on Google Plus make your post PUBLIC. Do not make it limited and send to a bunch of people you think want to read your post.

When you do this you piss a lot of people off including me! Over the last week I have gotten direct posts for the following things:

1.) An invite to New Years Eve parties in different states.
2.) Pictures of peoples cats
3.) Recipes
4.) Someone wishing me a Merry Christmas
5.) A house someone was selling clear across the country.

1. Record ringtone in Audacity
2. Convert via Ringtonesia
3. Upload to iTunes
4. Sync to iPhone
5. Edit contact to reflect new ringtone

There is an sms circulating around and it reads "Congratulations your sim has won you R195,000 in Cocacola Yearly promo. Your ref no is s.a.22kp call Zanele on 079 920 6355, for your claim" when you call you are asked to give your ref # and call after 2 minutes then they tell you to sms your name, surname and address, you do that they reply that to activate your details you need to buy Telkom prepaid worth R200 but won't give you their land line but asked then if in Johannesburg they said yes when i said I know the MD the African speaking lady gave the phone to her self claimed manager who changed the story and said he is Cape Town, guys it's a scam. Please spread the word.
