High season for mushroom pickers!
On Saturday we did our first mushroom walk and found tons of parasol mushrooms and a few boletus, out there in the woods.
In the evening we had a really delicious dinner!

I also took my camera with me, because I planned to make some mushroom photos. The result is this really nice toadstool photo.
Don´t worry, we didn´t use this toadstool for our dinner neither for psychedelic experiments :)

The Center of the Universe

thanks for the shares/+1s/comments - I like them all :)

What gets you up in the morning? This view is one of the things that will get me out of bed at any hour of the night. Sunday morning of this last weekend was one of those mornings. I was able to shoot this scene for an hour or two as the sun slowly made it way up to the horizon and beyond.

I have been lucky enough to do this many times in the past 12 months - and it never gets old. I feel like I am now able to experiment with different ideas I have about capturing these scenes now - since I have had so many opportunities to get the "standard shots". I look forward to working on more difficult and creative takes on this iconic view this year! Now I just need to make sure keep setting my alarm!

This is the Laudachsee behind the peak of the Traunstein in Upper Austria.
It´s a foot-walk ~1h until you are there when you start from the parking lot at "Franzl im Holz"!

READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU ASK FOR INCLUSION

Now the time has come for me to launch my latest project here on Google+ –– the PHOTO CRITIQUE CIRCLE. You submit your pictures to either the above hashtag or to the PHOTO CRITIQUE EVENT that I will create when I share this circle for the first time and I will give you my professional opinion on them. Pros and cons but in a respectful and friendly way. I will not use the chainsaw when I review your pictures, I can promise you that.

I will pick a couple of the pics members of this circle submit every week and review them in my personal feed.
