Once removed,it is placed on a ten-by-ten inch stainless steel plate, ready for sectioning -- or else it is sealed in a glass container with preservative for future use.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE: This is a breakdown by county of who voted for Romney (red) and Obama (blue). Obama won both the popular vote and the Electoral College.
I am not joining those who this morning are advocating abolishing the Electoral College. If it did not exist, then the popular vote would always pick the winner.
It is what saves us from having major cities pick the president. Those in New York City should not be able to set policy for those living in Kansas.
*Most of those that elected Obama , the 47% with their hand out live in the inner city! I don't want them speaking for me! EVER....
