I would like to say just one thing about Sopa/Pipa....
The united States government needs to PULL their HEAD OUT OF their ASS!!!!!!

From what I can gather, all of this was started by big business, spending big money to get the American politicians to make it so big business can make big money.

I'm Canadian, I'm against this asinine bill!

As a Canadian I do not want another country dictating what I can and can't do on the internet. I don't want my own government telling me what I can and can't do on the internet. Yes this bill can affect people in other countries. Because the United States can bully.. (yes I said bully) other countries into doing what THEY believe is right. I'm concerned Canada may follow the lead of the U.S. government. because of pressure from the U.S.

wow, talk about lack of inspiration. Camera didn't leave the bag at all this weekend. Why? I don't know. One thing in my favor, I was pretty busy with other stuff, but still. Nine times out of ten, I take my camera with me when I go out, but I didn't this weekend. I guess I should force myself, but when I do that I don't really get the results I want. Does anybody else have day's/weeks like this? What do you do when your feeling like this? Any hints would help.

Quantum levitation

A thin superconductor layer (~1µm thick) is coated on a sapphire wafer. Quantum physics tells us that the magnetic field penetrates into the superconductor in the form of discrete flux tubes. Well, it's 2012, I stayed home last night with Kathryn, my daughter, and little nephew Dakota. Both the kids wanted to stay up until midnight, but at ten they both went to to bed. I had a few drinks last night, but thankfully no hang over today. I remember my younger day's when I would be hung over on new year's day and it was no fun.

My photography plans for 2012:
1. photo of the day. One photo every day this year.
2. Get up before the sun and make some great sunrise photo's. at least once a week
3. New lens's
4. I really want to sell some pictures this year so I'll be working on that.
5. Blog, I started to blog here on google+, but stopped, so I'm going to blog at least once a week.
6. quit smoking, no smoking = more money = cool photo gear for me!! Oh, and it's better for my health to!

Having Christmas with the family, Lilly has opened a couple of gifts so far, and she's a happy little girl. We took a break for breakfast, then we will open more. The Funniest part though, is when Rosco (our dog) went and got his gift from under the tree and opened it. This is the second year in a row he's done this. So So cute. Merry Christmas everybody!!
