Utrecht Photo Walk, impressions..

It was cold, windy and COLD with wind chill of -12 and despite that eleven brave persons have decide to explore Utrecht during +Dutch Photo Walk.
We had a nice time together, again were new people present despite cold it was a beautiful day.
This is a typical Dutch scene, mother carries her children in a tricycle (bakfiets) a Dutch invention.

This photo is made in an metro station during +Dutch Photo Walk in Rotterdam.
End of this month actually end of the next week we will hit the road again only this time Utrecht is on our agenda. Hope we will keep it dry :-)

When I post one photo to the community it will appear also on my profile but only community members are able to say something. Everyone can read those comments.. I don't get the idea behind this option and I_ don't like it.

Unreal World

I love the way environment changes when photographed with infrared. This one is made with IR filter at front of my lens. I'm thinking to invest in converted camera to be able to make perfect stills.

Every photo is an story of its own

During one of my "drive, explore and shoot" journeys I went to nearby island. Villages on this island are known for their strictly religious communities. Some keep strange rules for example not driving car on Sunday.
To made this shot I had to pass a hard deposition. After I was finished realized to stand in someone's backyard without permission.
I apologized to people looking strange at me and lived their backyard.

Erasmus Bridge (Dutch: Erasmusbrug)

Is a cable-stayed bridge across the Nieuwe Maas, linking the northern and southern regions of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

After costing more than 163 million euros to construct, the bridge was officially opened by Queen Beatrix on September 6, 1996. Shortly after the bridge opened to traffic in October 1996, it was discovered the bridge would swing under particularly strong wind conditions. To reduce the trembling, stronger shock dampers were installed.

This photo is made during +Dutch Photo Walk in Rotterdam.

Last days of winter

I'm not sure if I have it right, its more hope to be right.

Someone say's last to me by one of my winter photo's Imagine one lonely figure walking unsteadily in the snow. I can remember that I have photographed a similar scene.

Another sunset

Sometimes I'm driving long distances for an composition and on my way back finding what I'm looking for.
