Dear Google+ developers. Please fix the following bug: if a page has two og:title tags, sharing it on Google+ results in those two titles being concatenated. That's annoying and unneeded. Just pick the first, like that "other social network" does.

So... Googlers, please tell me. How is this kind of stuff going to scale for any large online publication? To take a client of mine as an example: the Guardian. I haven't seen any of these there yet but I'm guessing it's only a matter of time.

You see, it's been a long standing best practice amongst SEOs to build links to pages that have your best incoming links, to strengthen them even more. So there'll be tons of pages on any big publishers domain that get unnatural links because the one being linked to benefits from it. So, do you really even need to send that email? Take that "granular action" and don't pester SEOs or other people at those companies with it. It just doesn't make sense.

Is it me, or is it rather annoying that people talking about reforming J-school without even so much as mentioning search? It's only like 50% of traffic for most newspapers.
