New +Google+ Stream

Another post about this, I just realized that the new +Google+  stream is based on your resolution, on one monitor I have 2 lanes and on my 3rd monitor which has the highest resolution it has 3 lanes... However this does not explain what makes it so that certain posts have a full screen, do any of you know any +Google Developers  that we can tag to see if they can chime in on how this functions? I have tried to do some searches but this is fairly new and I mostly found old posts about random things unrelated. 

I'm sure there are other rabid poster's out there that would like to know the answer to this, so if you know anything on how this works or anyone that may know, please tag them in the comment section.

So now that there is a new layout, I noticed one thing right away on my stream... some posts come out large and take up both lanes, what makes that happen? is it based on interest? or something else?

Also... What do you guys think of the new layout

Can you believe someone abandoned me in a canal and left me for dead?

Hello, my name is Lady Coco Monroe (some of the many names given to me by my new friends), lucky for me a nice fella spotted me and took me out of the canal and put me in an empty lot, he couldn't take me home as he had other dogs that were very territorial... Some of the people who would walk by would toss me some food sometimes. Attacked by other dogs my wounds were starting to get infected as well as my overall health deteriorating due to the heavy Florida rains storms last week. A guardian Angel finally arrived and took me out of the lot I was in, he let me stay in his home where he could tend to my wounds and try to find me a safe home out of the elements and helped me get better. After about a day or two he decided he wouldn't continue the search for a new family as he realized that he had already found one... more »

First and last family road trip

Certainly not one of my best quality photos... shot in 2005 with an old rinky camera, its one of my most memorable ones.  This takes place in  Santiago - Dominican Republic.   This was on a road trip from the city to the beaches of Sosua quite the ways away, this was not any road trip... but the very last one for my grandfather Rafael Almonte with what would be in my memory the first and last full family get together.  This photo buried within layers upon layers of folders I have on an old hard drive, when I saw it I instantly had a plethora of flashbacks from the trip as my grandfather released what I assume were some of his honest dying words as he explained in great detail some of the great and bad experiences he had as a young man on this very long lonely road, I wont get too into details but there was topics that ranged from car breakdowns, funroad... more »

I had taken an image of the Gibson's Steps minutes before this, and all of a sudden I turned around to see this gorgeous light shine gloriously. Although it still had it's beauty in the image just minutes before, the beauty intensified and was transformed by the light. As I was working on this, it made me think of our own selves... we may look the same externally but it's the light within us that makes us glow. Whether it be spirituality, your passion, your love that makes you come alive... hold on to it dearly and let your own light shine brightly.
