Amanda was waiting for the bus on the day the #zombieapocalypse  began. It was well under way and she was getting nervous with all the sirens she's been hearing. More than usual, that's for sure. She figured that she would be safe once she got on the bus and got home. 

3 minutes later it arrived, and just in time to by the looks of the fights breaking out down the street. She got her bus pass ready and was about to board when the #zombies  poured out and overwhelmed her.

                                Ocean Foam Out of Control

It was as if someone had poured tons of coffee and milk into the ocean, then switched on a giant blender. Suddenly the shoreline north of Sydney were transformed into the Cappuccino Coast. Foam swallowed an entire beach and half the nearby buildings, including the local lifeguards centre, in a freak display of nature at Yamba in New South Wales.

Google +: Broadening Minds Beyond the Google Plus Community!

What I enjoy most about the Google + Community is that every time I log in, I learn something new and interesting. Google Plus blossoms with the wealth of accumulated knowledge and vision of its often inspirational users. 

As it turns out that knowledge touches more than just Google+ users.

On Google+ I learned about Henrietta Lacks.

While cleaning up after supper the next day, I told Grandma the interesting story.

Created for my Mom +Elaine Lindsay  born in Edinburgh and admirer of the loyal Greyfriars Bobby.

 In 1858 this faithful dog followed the remains of his master to Greyfriars Churchyard and lingered near the spot until his death in 1872. John Gray's faithful dog Bobby mourned his master for 14 years, until his own death in 1872.
 
The keeper and gardener of the burial ground remembered John Gray's funeral and he said the Skye terrier was one of the most conspicuous of the mourners.
 
The grave was closed and the next morning the curator found the Skye terrier lying on the newly made mound of earth.
 
Bobby made the Kirkyard his home. Often in very bad weather, attempts were made to encourage him indoors, but he was not having any of that.

This Picture was taken 60 years after the liberation of Auschwitz Birkenau. The pictures on the wall that mirror on the floor were found in the prisoners suitcases after the liberation. Most of those people are unknown and probably died in concentration camps. Note the cross formed by the person and the line in the middle.
