Trude Hell
Hell, Sartre said, is other people. I have to disagree on that.

We ought to do good to others as simply as a horse runs, or a bee makes honey, or a vine bears grapes season after season without thinking of the grapes it has borne.

Your country's new, your friends are new
Your house and even your eyes are new
Your maid is new and your accent too
But your fear is as old as the world.

Orre old. Church is a church from 1250 in Klepp, Rogaland county (Jæren). The church is close to the sea; Orrestranda, the North Sea. The sea probably stood higher in the Middle Ages, so that boats could moor at the church walls. Orre old church was the parish church for Orre until 1950, when Orre Church on Pollestad (Orre center) was built.
Built of stone, it has 250 seats.

I looked for a quote regarding "scared", and found what follows. I guess, in hindsight, one could say that it is explanatory:
Two things scare me. The first is getting hurt. But that's not nearly as scary as the second, which is losing.

I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.

October is the fallen leaf, but it is also a wider horizon more clearly seen.

At the Railway Station, Upways
‘There is not much that I can do,
For I’ve no money that’s quite my own!’
Spoke up the pitying child—
A little boy with a violin
At the station before the train came in,—
‘But I can play my fiddle to you,
And a nice one ’tis, and good in tone!’
The man in the handcuffs smiled;
The constable looked, and he smiled too,
As the fiddle began to twang;
And the man in the handcuffs suddenly sang
With grimful glee:
‘This life so free
Is the thing for me!’
And the constable smiled, and said no word,
As if unconscious of what he heard;
And so they went on till the train came in—
The convict, and boy with the violin.

Alone
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.
~ Edgar Allan Poe

His songs are compared with Tom Waits, Neil Young and Will Oldham by one Norwegian newspaper. Listen in and see if they're right!
