I came across this old Volkswagen Beetle with millions of colorful embroidered beads in the Denver airport atrium and knew that I had to grab a few precious frames before racing off to catch a flight.  HDR processing with Photomatix Pro helped bring out the textured details.

A while ago Tomáš Černý (a F1 fan) suggested to us on Google+ to introduce the pit stop crew to fans. This chart explains who does what during a pit stop. We hope you like it!

Some facts & figures about pit stops:

Anything between 2 and 3 seconds is considered a good pit stop.

Since January 2013, our pit stop crew has performed more than 500 training pit stops.

The crew practices pit stops for 45 minutes every Thursday prior to a race.

Another 20-30 minutes of pit stop practice follows on Friday.

On Sunday morning, some 4-6 ‘warm-up’ pit stops areperformed.

I use to eat lunch in that fenced in area on the lower right.  I've stood right fucking there for several marathon finishes. 

There is/was a gorgeous garden about 50 yards below the bottom edge of this image.  No idea if it exists now.

This is the first year I wasn't working downtown during the marathon.

I have no idea if anyone I know was there, and there is nothing I could do if there was.

I fucking hate whoever did this right now.

Damit ihr nicht so blöd aus der Wäsche guckt wie ich, wenn jemand Harlem Shake sagt: Es ist ein neues YouTube-Meme. Im Video unten ein "Best of" mit dem auslösenden Video zu Beginn. In den Videos sitzen am Anfang immer mehrere Leute irgendwo und sind weitgehend apathisch. Eine Person, die in der Regel einen Helm o.ä. aufhat, tanzt aber zu der Musik im Hintergrund. Dann ein Schnitt und alle tanzen wie blöd. Kurz darauf ist der Spuk schon wieder vorbei ;)

Google+ Is Now the #2 Largest Social Network In The World

A recent report by Global Web Index has revealed that +Google+ has now surpassed Twitter in active users!

This quick graphic I created only shows the numbers for Facebook, Google+, and Twitter, although Technically +YouTube was considered #3 and Twitter came in at #4.

If anyone has yet to see the value in Google+ as a platform to build an audience for their business or brand, they seriously need to re-think some things.
