Just made the switch from vanilla Ubuntu, but annoyed about not being able to open Favourite apps with Super+(number). Is there a similar thing possible in GNOME?

Wow. An hour-long drive through Dorkland along windy/hilly roads, with my 7-year-old cousin whining all the way, just to see a rock covered in gannets. I am so glad to be back in Wellington

YAY!
Today I'm going to "Parking Solutions" in Porirua to show them my (*very* unfinished) Android app for Phone2Park. Unfortunately I have to demo it on the simulator, because the only Android device in the house (a Nexus S!!!!! :D) is wrapped up under the Christmas tree.

OK, I added a benchmark to that "blorkyblob" thing. Now after 1000 iterations, you get an alert with how many milliseconds it took (so less is better). What results do you get?

Weird thing about the flashy thing I shared earlier:
The tab title show the number of iterations. While on the tab (for me in Chrome on a MacBook) I get over 100 iterations per second. While on another tab, I get exactly one per second.

Was cleaning all the old stuff off my development server. I thought I was done, but then I came across the linked page. Do not open if epileptic. How fast it works in Chrome is a pretty good ad for it's rendering engine.

The tribute video I made for the Year 8 Leavers Dinner last night.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.
