I am enjoying this show so far. There have been a couple of plot holes but for the most part it is suspenseful and the atmosphere and acting is top notch. Too bad more people aren't watching it. I hate getting attached to  good shows that get cancelled.

Happy Mothers Day

This is a picture of my mom back when she was probably around 10 or so which means it was taken  back in the early 40's. She's not around anymore , but she is always in my thoughts.

This game is also available at GOG.com . If you missed it the first time it came out then I suggest you buy it now. Sure the graphics are outdated but the game play is still great. One of my favorites :)

Three years ago HTC manufactured the Nexus One and I thought bright things were ahead for the company. Obviously I was wrong. Doesn't look like the HTC one is going to help pull them out of their declining revenues either.

It is hard for me to comprehend the events of today. As tragic as it was it is heartening to know that lives were saved. My thoughts and prayers are with those who lost loved ones in a stupid and needless act of violence but my thoughts are also with those who survived and to those who helped them survive. 

I have read a lot of things today and of course most of it is speculation.  Eventually the individual or group responsible will be found. Sickens me that people jump on a targeted group but at the same time that is the society those of us in the US live in these days. For now I just want to lament those who died, who were injured, those families affected, and those who witnessed this horrible event. 

And with that I do enjoy a sound of silence to thousands who last night did not expect a day like today. Those people are in my thoughts tonight and for the following days.
