so John key publicly rubbished wellington in a speech given to a takapuna business club recently. This to me exemplifies why I wont vote for this idiot or any of his party members. Here's why:
1) A PM should lead by unifying a country not creating divisive debate that is pointless
2) A PM should be smarter than this. Pissing off an entire city isnt a formula for winning votes
3) Id also be wagering that as the media puts pressure on him to front up on the issue he'll cite a brain fade or some other bullshit like he has so often done in the past. Face it folks John Key is NZ's version of George Bush. Time for some Obama

did anyone read the stuff story on the GCSB reforms - Key makes some really bold claims - yet hides behind national security issues to avoid substantiating them. Bet it comes out in the wash that he and his cronies made these claims up

Blackened fish - 2 tablespoons white pepper (ground), Black pepper (ground), 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 4 tablesppons of sweet (not hot, but smoked does work) paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes (ground) & 1/4 teaspoon of Garlic granules (also ground)
Place all ingredients in a mortar and grind til a powdery red fragrant mix is created.
To coat fish, get a steel jug of melted butter and brush butter on fish fillets, drizzle spice mix over fillets and then cook fish in a hot pan using oil that can handle a high heat (preferably rice bran as this wont interfere with the firey spice mix) - be sure to cook outside as this dish creates a lot of smoke but tastes devine
