Hi everyone! I've just finished recording up a new original song, and am so excited to share it with you all :-)
Inspired by my sister-in-law's magical wedding and a good friends' journey through pregnancy, this song is a celebration of all those big moments in life - the ones that take our breath away when we finally reach them. 'Still, Still, Still' - a Christmas Tune
A while back, +Kate Butson and myself set out to collaborate on a Christmas song. We had folks throw out suggestions and got lots of great ideas. We chose the song 'Still, Still, Still', a beautiful song that is not covered all that much outside the classical realm.
I think you'll agree that Kate performed it beautifully, and that her voice is addictive. I added a bit of instrumentation, a few harmonies, and really love how it all came together.
In any case, we both wish you a Merry Christmas, a very Happy Holidays, and look forward to sharing more music with you in the new year!

This song was actually inspired by a TV series I was totally hooked by and finished watching recently, where one of the main characters had an amazing life and wonderful people right in front of her, but could never find happiness. I think she felt like she deserved more than life was giving her...thankfully, her eyes were eventually opened.
The moral of the story? The grass will always be greener...we should never take life for granted, and we should always be thankful for everything we have! :-)

Stoked to have been able to watch Michael Clarke smash that 200 for Australia yesterday, records falling all over the place. The guy is phenomenal! Warner and Hussey with hundreds, and almost 500 runs scored on day one...unbelievable day of cricket. If Clarke carries on where he left off and Wade can get going quickly this morning, watch out...
