Between 1788 and 1868, approximately 160,000 convicts were transported to Australia. Could your ancestors have been among them? Join Bruce Tudor from the New Zealand Society of Genealogists to find out more.
Speaker bio
Bruce has been researching the Australian convict system for 30 years and has traced a number of convicts in his family ranging from the first fleet through to 1835. Bruce is the convenor of the Australian Interest Group of the NZSG and takes classes on Australian research.
