Hi there! I have a question about 500px lightroom plugin sync +existing images... What happens with existing images if I do a sync? I'd rather not have a) duplicate images in Lightroom or, b) duplicate images on 500px. This happened to me earlier with a Flickr LR plugin (jf Flickr) and I'd rather not have to delete all my uploaded images or mess about in LR. Any clues would be gratefully received. #question

When I found this spot on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island, it was raining, which kind of spoilt the reflection. It's always raining down there. On the second visit, it hadn't rained for a while, and I thought it looked perfect. By the time I had grabbed the camera and jumped out of the car, it was raining. #fuckit. So I took this shot anyway.

+Richard South It seems I can't comment on the post you commented on, but to answer your question, yes I do some work in Photoshop. Most of the tweaks are done in Lightroom, then Photomatix if that's appropriate, and then I'll often do some masking and adjustment layers in PS. "Searchlights Over Auckland" is a composite of two images in Photomatix (exposure fusion) with PS adjustments. Questions? Ask away!

I hadn't made the mental connection between Google+ and Picasa, but then I did, and there's a Lightroom plugin to post images directly to G+, so I installed it. Which would have been fine, but it wouldn't sync properly, so I wound up deleting all the images and reposting them. Grrr and Yay, in approximately that order.
