A status update about CM10 on Samsung devices:

- The Samsung Galaxy S III's ROM is somewhat ready. As far as we know, everything works (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, Video playback, Calls, Audio, 3G Data, Camera, ...). It is currently undergoing some internal tests to make sure everything is fine just by installing the update ZIP, so if something goes wrong make sure to blame +Pedro Carneiro ;-) No ETA available, we will release an experimental build when we feel like it's ready, so if everything is fine it could be hours or days, if something goes wrong it could be hours or days or weeks or months or years or centuries or millenniums.

(Oh and don't even think about asking for FM Radio)

- I just started to work on the Samsung Galaxy Note. Codeworkx and Espenfjo already started on the Galaxy S II, thus some of their work profits a lot for the N7000. I'll keep you... more »

New Zealand - Aurora Australis

So, tonight I was awake all night driving all over Queenstown and southern New Zealand to capture the Aurora Australis - the major solar storm finally hit, and the sky went crazy all night!  I have many more photos to share later today...  so stay tuned... just posting this one before I pass out on the floor.

Merge will commence when source is fully downloaded; this means hours not minutes since people all over the world will be hitting these servers. 

Do not expect nightlies to immediately be available for JB, we will have them up once we are content with where the ROM is. 

As noted before, this does not change the plan for CM 9 - we anticipate an RC2 and then the stable release. 

Big shout out to +Jean-Baptiste Queru and the rest of the Android team.

Why do so few people use hangouts? they're full of awesome people talking about awesome things!

The new Android operating system 4.1.0, Jellybean is awesome on the Nexus.

The whole OS is so smooth that it blows my mind, probably as smooth as my Siii currently. 

The notification bar is beautiful, and functional with the gestures etc.

The Nexus definitely feels like a brand new phone, highly suggest getting Jellybean if you own one, I want this!
