baby booties!!

Lately i was observing my husbands shoes.I could see all his character profile in them.He has been wearing them for like 3 months and that is not a long duration.But the shoes are now transformed into Zeeshan .Now they are starting to tell Zeeshan’s daily story.So i am working on this new drawing.I am anxiously waiting to see how it shall end.

Yay, my wife moved to Google+ too!

After seeing the UI changes today I finally managed to convince my significant other to set up a proper presence on Google+ .

She's an artist and wants to promote her work here. I'm sure she'll find a welcoming community here, WON'T SHE? ;)

Hashtags in the New Google+

Kudos to the Google+ team for finally getting hashtags right. If you put hashtags in your post, the system automatically picks them up and displays them in the top right of your final post as shown in the attached image. You can click these hashtags to visit the hashtag stream.

Google+ just got infinitely better

I logged on to my google+ account just now to an amazing surprise. The UI is completely new. I assume it's rolling out to everyone today around the world.

Everything has changed and it looks great. Hats off to the Google+ Team.

Yesterday, I went on a boat safari in Southern Sri Lanka. Our boat captain had caught a baby crocodile during one of his fishing outings and he was kind enough to let me hold it.

It felt surreal having an actual crocodile in my hands!

Little England

I'm presently enjoying a road trip in Sri Lanka with my wife. A couple of days ago we came across this lake in Nuwara Eliya. Little England they call it. It's a bit of heaven hidden in the mountains in Sri Lanka. We stood there gazing at it as the minutes raced by. Our chauffeur had a hard time convincing us to finally get back on the road.

I took this photograph to share the beauty of Nuwara Eliya with you all. I know what my next wallpaper now is.

I know things are getting pretty serious out there in the East but to me the #northkorea  missile crisis seems like a very prolonged bad joke. This conversation is how it is probably going down over there between Kim and his "Army". Also, the attached GIF is now very relevant  #lol

Meet Mojo

Mojo moved into our house today. He's only a month but he's a tiny playful furball. He's constantly moving. I couldn't get him to sit still for like 2 seconds to get a proper shot. These two are the only ones I managed after trying for half an hour. :)

How our Solar System really moves

Being a part of the Solar System, we always view it from a fixed perspective. As in, we don't really imagine the Sun (the center of our solar system) to be moving too.

But let's say we "zoom out" a little bit then we'll see an extraordinary trajectory of the Sun and its planets. This GIF shows a high-speed simulation of the motion.

The Hobbit - A Return to Middle-Earth
possible spoiler alert

I finally saw the Hobbit tonight. I know I know, too late... but it only just premiered here in Pakistan.

But, WOW! My mind could not handle so much epic in one movie. The visuals were breath-taking... the best I've seen since Avatar. I got so absorbed in Middle-Earth that I didn't even notice the 150 minutes go by. It was such an intense experience.

The Tolkien geek in me didn't like the fact that Peter Jackson had changed so many details from the book. But then that same geek was in so much awe when Galadriel, Gandalf, Elrond and Saruman met in Rivendell EVEN though that never happened in the book.

And then there was Thorin Oakenshield... a mightier and more majestic dwarf cannot be imagined. I was used to Gimli from the LotR movies where you don't really get to see the... more »
