I'm using a low end samsung chromebook as a sort of third computer (for website that won't quite work on the tablet in a location I'm using over the summer). It's quite tolerable.

I could see paying a little more for a more fluid web loading experience, but other than that, the traditional web experience is all you could hope. It's like a low end cloud terminal.

I point out to students that what i was calling the web a decade (and more) ago has now morphed into the cloud. That's basically all the web protocols now optimized for data and content delivery.

Agile is effectively a change management approach

As you all know, we have been using the agile approach to project management throughout this semester. As we experienced or research or viewed from our trips to MENLO and the car insurance organization that came in agile change management practice can address such issues as it is geared towards adding value in small increments.  Agility in change management requires making and delivering changes in smaller amounts using an approach that uses brief time-periods.  It promotes managing change by focusing on value, delivering the value and optimizing the value.  Change is delivered in small chunks that are time-boxed. This article is pretty interesting.___Agile is effectively a change management approach

No doubt about this

It's definitely not surprising to me to see that developers and engineers are hard to find, but it's a little surprising that project managers are hard to find too. I find that using kanban boards in these classes has definitely helped my teams to stay organized and on track with our projects. Interesting to see the kanban board gain widespread acceptance.

I perform all of these tasks at the pool store I work at! I manage the store with two other ladies, and we do all these things on a daily basis. The three of us collaborate with each other, along with managers from our other five stores; we have a structured invoicing and customer order process that we follow every time; and I also just began to implement a kanban board to make the organization of our tasks easier.

Establishing feedback loops can add both time and cost to a project, but they seem essential to producing successful deliverables. This read talks about the drop in the sales of tablets. A big point made in the article that part of the reason for the drop is that tablets have not fully filled that void as a PC replacement.
