These evolving theories are not unexpected because the field is continuously learning how feelings affect perception, reasoning, problem solving abilities and the ways in which people adapt to life events. The current research offers the biological explanations for the health psychology position; these human emotions are biological, psychological and sociological in nature.

Here is one for the nerds of the google world 😁

✦ Perception bias exists in public health news messages✦
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/02/170208111543.htm

1. "The theory of the third-person effect traces its roots to World War II propaganda. The theory suggests that individuals will perceive a mass media message to have more influence on others, than themselves. "

2. This perception tends to counteract the message's intended "call-to-action." Basically, this suggests that over time people wised up to the fact that some mass media message were intended to manipulate them -- so the messages became less and less effective.

The task is to insert health topics to "flu shot" (Who needs to.....blah, blah)
and my question is what are the alternate channels to promote healthy living.

This surely applies to health psychology and the application of using the biological-psychological-sociological concept.___

The Use of Technology to Stalk

Many of you may not be aware that I was cyber stalked enough so as to fill out an FBI report. (Phone and number was wiped out, computer, website, affiliate account, godaddy & hostgater accounts, charge card, dropbox, facebook etc all compromise and I'm pretty sure unfavorable images of me are floating are the internets) If you come across an image send it to me!! All in attempts to totally wipe me off the internet.

My new phone is still being hacked via messages being interrupted by people in an attempt to gaslight! I am one of the lucky ones and the investigator team found enough evidence to follow through.

1 in 10 people are cyber stalked and most people DO NOT report it because they feel embarrassed. You need to understand that this is a form of abuse, you must report it to the FBI and follow up as much as possible.

This just released report discusses the Biological, Psychological and Social aspects of Humane Genome editing.

The National Academies of Sciences (NAS) and National Academy of Medicine (NAM) held a public briefing for the release of a new report, Human Genome Editing: Science, Ethics, and Governance.

The report provides an overview of current capabilities in the rapidly developing field of human genome editing technologies, their potential use in biomedical research and medicine, and the clinical, ethical, legal, and social implications of their use.

This is health psychology (the biopsychosocial concept)

"The arts, humanities and social sciences teach us both to look outside of ourselves and to look within: to explore, examine and record what it means to be human. What do health, illness, suffering and healing mean? What is caring? What is the experience of exhaustion, loss and grief? Such inquiries enable us to think critically about what we do, what we say, how we affect others, how our relationships are tied to our choices and perspectives, and, ultimately, how we live. This is precision health at its most nuanced, contextual and intimate level."

Focusing

An old tale slightly revised

The young businessman was attempting to relax using his favorite meditation method and laying on his couch becoming more and more relaxed.

All of a sudden he noticed a fly landing on his nose and picked up the book lying next to him and swatted it. He resumed his exercises until he noticed that there were two flies on his face, swatting again, resuming his meditation. He almost immediately noticed 4 flies on his face, then 8, then 16, then 32 frantically swatting again and again.

Pretty soon the whole room was infested with thousands of flies & the poor guy suddenly had a new idea and just laid back once again to just focus on his original task "to become relaxed" .

He ignored all the flies buzzing around the room & within minutes they all disappeared.

☯ Gaslighting is when a person, entity or company (in order to gain more power), makes a victim question their reality.

1. They tell blatant lies.
2. They deny they ever said something, even though you have proof.
3. They use what is near and dear to you as ammunition.
4. They wear you down over time.
5. Their actions do not match their words.
6. They throw in positive reinforcement to confuse you.
7. They know confusion weakens people.
8. They project.
9. They try to align people against you.
10. They tell you or others that you are crazy.
11. They tell you everyone else is a liar.

A good article and I will write about it "someday". However, I am just too busy working on other projects right now....and I am just beginning to learn "pop sci" terms.
