Google Science Fair3,133,989*The Science of Photography* Digital photography offers amazing flexibility to capture and modify images. But how does the science of photography actually work? What are the basic principles of light, and how do they affect how photographers shoot? How do different cameras and lenses capture images differently? And how do software tools change the way those images are ultimately viewed? Come to this Hangout On Air with +Trey Ratcliff, the world-class photographer whose work is displayed at StuckInCustoms.com. He will be interviewed by +Robert Scoble, well-known blogger, technology analyst, and amateur photographer, as well as our very own Google Student Ambassadors. Does anyone own an Epson R3880 & Color-Munki ?

I am trying to fault find a problem I have with my printer and need someone to conduct me a test and let me have the results.

Ideally, I would like the test done on Epson Archival Matte paper but any matte paper would do at a push.

Using the Epson Advance Black & White Mode with the Tone option set to Dark.
1- Print a 1x1 inch black square (RGB 0.0.0)
2 - Let it dry for 10 minutes
3 - Measure the results with the ColorMunki Photo ColorPicker
4 - Send me the LAB values from the measurement

Sometimes when selecting the spot healing brush, we can easily lose its position due to the colour of the brush blending into the background of the image.

This is a quick tip showing a simple but effective workaround.
