Dolidh Young499,458*Happy International Women's Day!* To all those lovely ladies out there!!I thought I'd put together a mega-women's circle to share this #WomensDay  These are women that I've circled that have been active this year or I know personally. <3If you've never heard of international women's day, then pop on over to http://www.internationalwomensday.com to get yourself up to speed on what it is and what's going on. The short of it if that it's an international day of celebrating political, social and economic achievements of women, whether it be in the past, present or future.Today, we remember all those important female women who fought for rights, scientists and successful women... But really it's not just there we can stop.. We can remember all those women that have come before... the important ones that we don't necessarily have any more... Mum's, aunties, sisters, partners and friends.Have a great day everyone! It's a fabulous Friday!2013-03-08 13:33:4141217840CC G+

And of course, if I've missed you (or worse, uncircled you) I appologise in advance! Please, if you know of any great people posting from Adelaide, let me know. To the best of my knowledge, they have not interacted with me in any way, shape, or form, other than to add me to one of their circles. They represent just under a third of my circle-jerks (so to speak). I offer this list for those of you looking to boost your numbers. My recollection is they haven't sent me spam -- they are just non-entities. It is a quirk of social media that people create profiles, are active for about 20 seconds, then never use them again, or at least don't use them to actually be social.Kevin Marousek shared a circle with you.2011-10-06 20:52:472031701CC G+

I love these Tsingtao ads! Very clever and funny. I enjoy that the 'drinking culture' is playfully celebrated. Another catchworthy phrase "In China, Cheers means start your drink and finish it!"

In my spare time I've been helping out with the marketing for Chinatown Adelaide's biggest ever Lunar New Year celebration!!

We're shutting down Gouger Street, will host a massive street restaurant, give things away until it hurts, watch 30 or more multicultural performances including George & Noriko, hang out with the Harajuku no Yoko kids, play mahjong, ping pong, shop at 60+ stalls, eat eat eat, ganbei and bring in the Year of the Snake!!

If you are in Adelaide this is going to be a great day you can actually bring your kids to that they will enjoy. One of our helpers has even put on a parenting room with under 5's entertainment and all that necessary stuff you can never find at festivals for looking after the little ones.

We had another Harajuku no Yoko in Chinatown Adelaide last Friday night. The ABC came down before hand to talk "lolli" with myself and the lovely Kelly Nicholas (right).  Also in the pic is Beverly Hull (left) and Tiffany Cannon. Click through to listen to the interview.

I did radio between ages 14-19 and I STILL freak out when I hear my voice.

An event I co-organise is back on next week for a Horror Theme. Halloween Horror Harajuku no Yoko  will be in Chinatown Adelaide 26th Oct 6-9.

Cosplay + Lolita + Harajuku + Blood = >0<
We have a few surprises in store that we can't announce just yet ^^
This is our fourth event - it's getting bigger each time.

We are a FREE event. Our traders are not charged. Our Dj's volunteer their time, Cosplays are relaxed with no "you only wear it once pressure"
Kids and families welcome.

We will continue the spooky fun at PimpPad a gaming bar in Adelaide whom finally obtained a liquor license after some hilarious political discontent.

Definitive top 100 Australian Google plus users by +Brett Gibson

Hi all - Its the start of the month so its time to share my

* Definitive top 100 Australian Google plus users*

This is a group of people limited to 100 who either live in Australia or are Australian.

This is an evolving circle - some come - some go. There are some people in here that produce great content via blogs, funny posts, amazing photos, some just add great value through the comments they leave on other's posts.

If there is someone in this circle that has a low post count of circle count - it is because I know they like this Platform but just don't have an audience yet. They want an audience before they start speaking. This might grate on some people's nerves - but I don't care - I am happy to facilitate more conversations

*This is a circle about quality conversations and content - not Circle whoring *

If you got an alert from me - you are in the Circle!

Please feel free to re-share or give me suggestions on anyone you think might qualify for this circle. Cheers - Gibbo___Definitive top 100 Australian Google plus users by +Brett Gibson

With the help of many we had our first "Harajuku no Yoko" In Chinatown Adelaide on 20th April. Chinatown came alive with Harajuku and Anime inspired fashion and Cosplay. We had traders sell their wares, J music, fashion competitions, free sushi and prizes from Golden Harvest Wines, Flying Sky Fashion and Lyrics on Gouger Karaoke Bar. The street was packed. Here are some photo's of the colour and energy. We aim to do this once a month in Chinatown. Enjoy!

Resharing +Brett Gibson 's interesting circle. Thanks for including me Brett!

I usually send this evolving circle out on the 1st of the month - but with #thewalkdownunder approaching I thought I'd do it a bit earlier for all of the Australian's coming along.

This is a group of 'active' Australian's who create and comment on great content.

There has been about 30 changes from the last #aussiecircleshare people have become either dormant or boring and dropped off. I've also filtered out a few Seppo's who had snuck in.

I also took a few suggestions from the last post and added appropriately.

This circle is kept to between 90-100 people to keep the quality high - also so that I can notify those that I am sharing to.

Share this circle with your Australian friends and family.___Resharing +Brett Gibson 's interesting circle. Thanks for including me Brett!

I love these Tsingtao ads! Very clever and funny. I enjoy that the 'drinking culture' is playfully celebrated. Another catchworthy phrase "In China, Cheers means start your drink and finish it!"

"Linotype: The Film" is a feature-length documentary centered around the Linotype type casting machine. Called the "Eighth Wonder of the World" by Thomas Edison, it revolutionized printing and society.

The film tells the surprisingly emotional story of the people connected to the Linotype and how it impacted the world.http://vimeo.com/15032988

I recently helped out Queerscreen with setting up a new Wordpress install. They run the Mardi Gras Film Festival – one of the largest LGBT film festivals and the most significant contributor to queer screen culture in Australia. The film lineup is prolific!

Its Community Manager Appreciation Day today! (which I am sure you all know). This job was certainly not available to me as a career option when I left high school in 1989.
