It appears my Vizio Costar has died, it was stuck on the V.  I tried to do a reset which brought up a picture but then the menu froze again.  Unplugged replugged back in and got the frozen V again.  Unplugged it completely will try again tommorow

I am not sure if this is a Primetime issue, a Vizio Co-star issue, Google TV issue or none of the above, but a couple of days ago I was rearranging my room so I moved my Vizio Costar, when I restarted it PrimeTime had gone back to its original full screen model.  I can't get it to go into the new single line floating mode.  Also when I try to add a favorite channel I get  "problem retrieving channel information" Plus when I try to connect to a station that I know I have I also get an error message.  Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried rebooting.  I even tried doing a factory reset nothing seems to be helping.   Finally I have a Comcast cable box if that information helps

I did a review of the Yamaha RX-V373 5.1-Channel AV Receiver Review in which I talked about connecting my 2012 Mac Mini to the Receiver using a Toslink cable using the following process. 

Plug the toslink to mini toslink cable into the headphone output of the mac-mini  
Plug the other end into the  optical input of the Yamaha receiver. I have my plug into AV1 but it also worked on AV4
Set the sound output to Digital out under sound preferences on the Mac.

I received an email back from a reader who has a 2009 Mac Mini and when he tried this process he is getting no sound. I need some suggestion on what he might try?

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem.  I have a Vizio Co-star and I installed DoggCatcher  so I can listen and watch podcast through my Google TV.   Every once in awhile I will start playing a podcast and it will start then after about 15 second it stops and the screen turns blue and I can't do anything.  I can't even bring up the menu or go back nothing.  To fix it I have to unplug and restart the Vizio.   Does anyone else have this problem?  For some reason it seems to happen most playing podcast from 5by5. (although this maybe my imagination)

I woke up this morning and I had 99 notification,  90 of them which were not important, but there are about 10 I wanted to see.  I wish there was a way to indicate that these people or tags are important and to have them either move to the top or to highlight them some way.

Tried to go to the Netflix app on my Vizio Co-star and it says launching Netflix and then the screen goes black.  Is anyone else having or had this problem.  Is there a fix for it?

Well that was a waste of $6.95  I downloaded Tasker on my Galaxy Nexus (Jelly Bean) and it keeps crashing.   To make things worse when it crashes all the profiles I set up are gone once it come back.  Really aggrevating.

Every once in awhile I will start playing a app like YouTube or Al Jazerra and I hear the audio but there is no video.  Right now the only way I have to fix it is to unplug and replug.  Is there any other  way to fix this, without restarting the Co-star

Is there anyone else who has trouble using Spotify on their Nexus.  At the beginning it plays well, then after a short time it stops, then starts again and this keeps happening.  It makes Spotify unusable on the phone

Has anyone gotten Spotify to work thru Plex on Google TV.  (Vizio Co-star)  I was able to log in but get there was a problem with media playback error when I try to play any song.

I love the new communities on Google Plus, however I don't like the fact that if I go to a community that has new post and I look at one post from that community, the number indicating unread post disappear from every category in that community.  I then don't know if there was something new posted under a different category.

The app launcher on my Vizio Co-star keeps crashing today.  When I push the V button to bring it up.  I get  (process com.vizio.tv.applauncer) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.  I have tried unplugging and replugging and it is still happening.  Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for opening up an application that is in the menu bar.  For example I have Notes  Tab in my menu bar and I would like to be able to access it with a couple of keys, instead of using my mouse.  Is there a way to do that?

I have a Galaxy Nexus and use Go-Launcher.  I have been noticing lately that it has been acting wonky.  When it wakes up the icons reappearing one by one slowly, like stars in the sky and the scrolling from desktop to desktop is jerky.  I wasn't sure what the problem was, I thought it might be because of the update.  However, then Go-Launcher crashed and I used the launcher and it was so much faster.  I uninstalled Go-Launcher and am now using Nova Launcher.  Everything is so much faster.   So if  your phone is acting sluggish and wonky and you use a launcher I recommend trying a different one or the default one that comes with the phone.

I saw the Hobbit last night at midnight and I had a great time. If you are a fan of the Lord of Rings Trilogy than you will enjoy this.   I hadn't read the book in over 10 years so I just remember the out line of the story so I can't speak to the accuracy of the details. But the overall story was true to the book as far as I can remember.  

Like the LORT, it is filled with epic scenery and music.  The special effects have definitely improved since the LORT.   Well I don't want to spoil it for anyone, like I said before any fan of the Lord of the Rings theater will  enjoy this movie.   If you are not a fan of LORT, but like a great adventure story, then you may still enjoy it.  I do recommend that you see it in Imax or 3D if you can, that is the one thing that I am sorry I didn't do.
