In this video he's joined by longtime friends Neal Schon, Michael Anthony, and Chad Smith and they take a break from recording to joke about all the different forms of HSAS. On the 4th of May Michael will be joining forces with Sammy Hagar and the Wabos to bring you Four Decades of Rock at Harrah's Lake Tahoe! The band will be performing songs from Montrose, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar solo and Chickenfoot.

Just heard about the passing of my friend and producer, Andy Johns. Words cannot express my sadness upon hearing this. Those of us who had the pleasure of knowing and working with Andy, you know what I'm saying. I loved you brother. Annette, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was recently on Maui with my wife Sue celebrating our anniversary and decided to take the trek over to Sammy's rum distillery.

It's run by Mark Nigbur who also makes his own brand of Vodka there called "PAU" which TOTALLY rocks. Check out the website below.

Mark showed me the whole process of how Sam's rum is made and bottled. I have to say I was pretty damn impressed!! He also stocked me up with plenty of rum and vodka which made the rest of my vacation on Maui a little fuzzy!!

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Frank Barsalona. He was a great pioneer in the industry as an agent, and Eddie, Alex, Dave and myself were represented by Frank and Premier Talent in the early days of Van Halen. He will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to Frank's family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jon Lord's passing. Growing up listening to music, Jon Lord and Deep Purple had one of the biggest influences on me both vocally and musically. The first Deep Purple album I listened to was "In Rock". The keyboards TOTALLY blew me away, and continued to do so on every one of their albums there after!! A huge piece of rock history for me is now gone. R.I.P. Jon. You were the best. My condolences go out to your family.

Mad Anthony recently lent his bass chops and background vocals to Bret Michaels who is putting together a solo record with many of his friends throughout the music industry.

The record is tentatively slated for a summer release and Mike joined Ace Frehley and Michaels to record Poison's "Nothin' But a Good Time." Other musicians on the upcoming disc include Joe Perry, Loretta Lynn and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ronnie Montrose yesterday. Besides being one of rock's early guitar icons, he was a friend and big influence on the way we wanted the first Van Halen album to sound like. I remember all of us (VH) wanting Ted Templeman, who produced the first Montrose album, to make us sound big like them!! Van Halen opened for Ronnie on a bunch of shows during our first tour in '78, and I've jammed with Ronnie numerous times since. He was always great to hang with, and very dedicated to his craft. My condolences go out to his family, friends, and Sammy, Dennie Carmassi, and Bill Church, the original Montrose band. Ronnie, you touched all of us.

I'm going to putting the new On Air features to the test live from the Foot Locker today! I'm coming in early to rehearsal (gearing up for those exclusive Europe Road Test dates next week) so get your questions ready, test out your camera and mic (no feedback pls!), and stop on by!

The first Hangout I did the first drink toast on a Hangout (Cabo Wabo, of course) -- who knows what will happen this time... but odds are that my buddy Kenny will be making an appearance and +Joe Satriani is going to do one over on his page afterwards at 12:30pm PST.
