Twitter Confirms: Tweet Structure Major Changes

In a blog post today (https://blog.twitter.com/express-even-more-in-140-characters) Twitter confirmed the rumors that they will remove a number of barriers that make the 140-character limit more difficult than it needs to be.

The changes announced:

• @names in replies no longer count toward the 140.
• media attachments no longer count toward the 140.
• users will be able to retweet and quote tweet their own tweets.
• Tweets starting with @names will now be seen by all followers. No more need for using .@name to start a tweet. (But replies will still be seen only by mutual followers.)

No mention of links not counting toward the 140 limit, which was mentioned in most of the rumor posts.

The changes will take months to roll out because Twitter wants to give time fordevelop... more »

Why SlideShare is such a View Monster

Back in November of 2015, I worked up this SlideShare Deck entitled; How to Curate Content Like a Pro  

I almost forgot this piece of content was out there. A friend of mine recently commented to me how my CM model was more advanced that what he was presented with from what I would consider a top shelf digital marketing shop.

Clearly, SlideShare commands some serious traffic/views in a wide range of topics and niches. Content Marketing is one of them.

The challenge we have is to post up good content and to figure out how to keep those spikes in views on a more frequent / steady basis
