I can't get rid of my bad mood against Adobes new "workflow" (payment!) strategies. +Kristian Peetz put this link in a comment:

I guess I will rethink my workflow which includes a converting of Canon Raw files in DNG files. And probably it is better storing masterfiles in TIFF than in PSD. What do you think? GOD how could I bee so stupid: I CONVERTED ALL MY CANON RAW FILES FROM THE LAST YEARS IN DNG FILES! And I didn't saw the original RAW Files!!!

I updated my profile photo. Newer thought I would do this one day. But this is an easy way to say NO!! Instead of sitting and waiting what will happen.

Let us all tell Adobe: We are the customers!!!

Let us tell Adobe what we are thinking about the new marketing strategies!

- I don‘t want to rent my software. I want to posses it.
- I don‘t want hidden price increasings, my clients don‘t want them too
- I want Adobe to finish Software. (Lightroom 4 is still laggy). I don‘t want Adobe to hide updates in the cloud.
- I want competitors to find the right answer to this bull shit...

To be clear: Lightroom and Photoshop are the most important tools I am using. But I am willing to make a change if Adobe stays with their marketing strategies and competitors are doing their jobs now.

Adobe sucks: The only thing that is missing in the newest marketing strategies is that they claim to posses all rights on our photos after putting them in the cloud.

Guess it is time to tell Adobe that they are going too far.
Even using spotify I am able to posses music.
It would be better if they are concentrating on unfinished products like Lightroom. To me it seemed that they are fixing performance issues with a new product calling LR5.
Where are the competitors delivering better solutions?
We have to do something!

Godafoss, Iceland

Sunset over Godafoss, one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen. It's been uneasy to set the right composition as I never knew if I'm standing on a firm ground or just on a tiny piece of ice covered by snow (this case). Then, I only let the water flow and enjoyed rare moment of magic light I witness on this year's trip. Velvia did the entire job.

I am not present lately but I find the time to post this photo.
I used the "Digital Blending" technique: I mixed manually (with photoshop) 3 exposures to realize the final picture (one exposure for the sky and the reflection, an other one for the island and the last one for stones in the foreground).

Lightroom 4.4 full release is now available for download!

Enjoy these updates:
1 - Added raw file format support for 25 cameras including the Canon EOS 1D C and Nikon D7100
2 - Bug fixes for issues introduced in previous versions of Lightroom.
3 - Updated the imaging algorithm for Fuji X-Trans sensor. This should improve the default raw file support for X-Trans cameras such as the Fuji X-Pro1 and Fuji X-E1.
