"I want to become a doctor” Rahma and her family fled their hometown Tikrit in #Iraq. At only 9-years-old she’s helping keep her family healthy by getting them vaccinated with the support of Unicef.

Like Rahma, nearly 7 million children and families in Iraq are in need of lifesaving healthcare and nutrition services. Unicef-supported community mobilisers are going tent to tent encouraging parents to bring their children to the camp health centre to be vaccinated. We need your support to continue our work to keep children like Rahma safe: http://ow.ly/ORQdt #BeatDisease

"Because of this outbreak, a million children in ‪#‎Liberia‬ have had their school year cut in half. They’re excited to be back in the classroom.”

Last week Unicef Goodwill Ambassador, Orlando Bloom visited Unicef programmes in Monrovia, Liberia. The programmes support children affected by the ‪#‎Ebola‬ outbreak. As schools reopen, we've introduced measures to reduce the risk of transmission and to keep children safe.
