How important is education for your child? We believe every child deserves the chance to learn. That’s why we’ve partnered with Persil to launch the Learning for Tomorrow campaign. In 2015 alone through our partnership we’re helping 10 million children in danger of missing out on an education. And it all starts with the #FirstDayOfSchool. Meet Marceline. We've provided her and other members of her village in #Kenya with mosquito nets to protect them from malaria. Now Marceline rests well at night undisturbed by mosquitoes and other insects. We've teamed up with England Footballers Foundation to keep more children like Marceline safe from malaria. Violence and conflict in Iraq have displaced 1.3 million children from their homes and left nearly 4 million in danger across the country. As many as 1.1 million children now live in areas controlled by armed groups and face the threat of abduction, physical and sexual abuse and recruitment by armed groups. We need urgent support to protect children in #Iraq.

Meet 5-year-old Sanjay from #Nepal. He is one of 14,000 children whose schools were destroyed or heavily damaged in the two deadly earthquakes. For the first time in five weeks he has started attending a temporary Unicef-supported learning centre. Happy #ChildrensDay
