Onion Pi
http://learn.adafruit.com/onion-pi/
Feel like someone is snooping on you? Browse anonymously anywhere you go with the Onion Pi Tor proxy. This is fun weekend project that uses a Raspberry Pi, a USB WiFi adapter and Ethernet cable to create a small, low-power and portable privacy Pi.
Using it is easy-as-pie. First, plug the Ethernet cable into any Internet provider in your home, work, hotel or conference/event. Next, power up the Pi with the micro USB cable to your laptop or to the wall adapter. The Pi will boot up and create a new secure wireless access point called Onion Pi. Connecting to that access point will automatically route any web browsing from your computer through the anonymizing Tor network.

Thanks to +Adafruit Industries, I just learned about the SensoGlove (from all the way back in 2009!). HOW DID I MISS THIS. I have to contact these guys. They're using cabretta leather and everything. Totally different target market and application, but the manufacturing looks to be spot-on with my current efforts.

Golf Glove Teardown - SensoGlove Taken Apart
http://youtu.be/vmGkNTfE2M4
The SensoGlove caught our eye-- not because it promises to improve your golf swing, but because of the interesting sensors inside. So Becky Stern and Ladyada did what comes naturally-- took the device apart to figure out how it works!

DONE THRIFTING
I never need to visit the local thrift store again. Ever. It would only be a letdown, because this could never be topped. Checkmate. I win. Done. A genuine Club DEVO 2008 FDOS Design "Energy Dome" hat in pristine condition. Paid fifty cents for it. That's not the best part though... It was in the kitchenware part of the store — upturned, alongside the mixing bowls. I am never taking this thing off.

How To Start A Hackerspace: The Essential Hackerspace Checklist by +Eric Michaud
http://learn.adafruit.com/how-to-start-a-hackerspace-the-list/
Please share! This document is “The List” – it is the direct result of the overwhelming interest in starting Hackerspaces that hit my inbox after co-founding PSOne and HacDC. When so many people asked for help with the very basics of starting and running a successful Hackerspace, I compiled this list to make it as easy as possible for potential Hackerspace founders to hit the ground running (and not forget anything important). Since then, “the list” has been distributed and shared within Hackerspace culture. It has helped with structuring the success of many Hackerspaces – and hopefully with this update and public release, it will serve as a handy go-to checklist for your awesome Hackerspace-to-be.

SHARP Memory Display Breakout - 1.3" 96x96 Silver Monochrome
http://youtu.be/nQLFWlcsdi4
The 1.3" SHARP Memory LCD display is a cross between an eInk (e-paper) display and an LCD. It has the ultra-low power usage of eInk and the fast-refresh rates of an LCD. This model has a matt silver background, and pixels show up as little mirrors for a silver-reflective display, a really beautiful and unique look. It does not have a backlight, but it is daylight readable. For dark/night reading you may need to illuminate the LCD area with external LEDs.
The display is 3V powered and 3V logic, so we placed it on a fully assembled & tested breakout board with a 3V regulator and level shifting circuitry. The display slots into a ZIF socket on board and we use a piece of double-sided tape to adhere it onto one side. There are four mounting holes so you can easily attach it ... more »
