Laurence Barry "L.H." Hubbard
 March 30, 1962 - December 29, 2012

Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Saturday, December 29th, 2012, Laurence Hubbard at 50 years of age.  Beloved son of Roy Hubbard and the late Rose Hubbard (nee Klamph).  Dear father of Ben Hubbard and Rachael Rose Hubbard.  Loving brother of Pauline Grolin (of Denmark) and David Hubbard (of Burlington).    Also missed by his aunt Millie, his cousins, his nephews and his friends.  A Funeral Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Friday, January 4th, 2013 at 2 pm.  Interment to follow at Cobourg Union Cemetery.  Visitation to be held at the funeral home on Friday for one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 pm.  Those wishing may make a memorial donation by cheque to the David Suzuki Foundation.  Condolences received atwww.MacCoub... more »

Hello Tea for Ten community,  I would like to a moment ot introduce myself.  My name is Scott Chamberlain, I have known Laurence for almost 8 years. I am also the step faher to his children.  I will be taking some time to learn the ropes here on G+ and hope to help  keep the Tea for Ten legacy going in Laurence's memory for his children,  I will be posting information with regards to the memorial services soon  for those who would like to attend.

Thank you all on behalf of Laurence and my family for the ongoing support and love.

#24daysoftea  - Day 6

Glitter & Gold

ingredients: Chinese black tea, sugar crystals, gold sugar balls, vanilla, orange peel and cloves.

I love the look of this tea with its gold sugar balls and silver confetti. Glitter & Gold is a black tea with a medium level of caffeine. I feel as if I should drink this for New Year with all of the glitter and gold in this tea. Tea was steeped for 5-6 minutes (as per instruction) and I can taste the clove with a hint of cinnamon flavour (even though there's no cinnamon in this tea). The tea is naturally sweet and tastes like sugar confetti. This is a soft flavouring tea so I didn't add any milk or honey. This tea is a definite must try :)

Life is still good
I got the bad news, in fact double the intensity. The cancer progress began on two different organs, pancreas and liver.
So It's palliative care now, and a pretty short timeline.
All the thoughts and good wishes have been overwhelming.
If there's anything after this life, I'll hopefully surprised, like playing center field for the San Francisco Giants.
