Picture-A-Day (PAD n.1386) "Obscura"
Great day in the city, and I got a few good street shots, one of which normally would have been my PAD Photo... however, it was so exciting for us to go to Obscura, that I had to give it PAD Priority. If you've ever watched the show "Oddities" you'll know what this store is. We even saw Evan there today too!
Lots of other good stuff... interesting people, Lite Choice ice-cream, pigeon man in the park (expect to see photos of that soon... LOL), Strand Books, lots of walking and gorgeous weather. A great day in NYC overall :D

Had to go out east today for that "interview" which I think went well... though it wasn't as much an interview as meeting with another photographer to tell me how this job will work. He was really nice, full of information... So far, so good - I'm optimistic!
Also testing out my new 10-20mm Sigma lens (which I'll be using for this paid work mostly) on the Pentax K-5 (poor girl, haven't had her out in a while!). VERY wide...
And I have my first official paid photo shoot tomorrow (for a different client)... wish me luck!
