Dear +Ricardo Lagos, +Yonatan Zunger, +Brian White and all the others at google: Will we have the workflow of sharing pics via albums back or is the new way something we have to accept?

When visiting the pages https://plus.google.com/u/0/+googleplus/posts and https://plus.google.com/u/0/+GPhotos/posts while searching for information I found nothing new ... nowhere I can find an explanation of the structure behind the new photo management.

Yes, there was a hangout, but by searching the comments I found that our questions are still unanswered. I'd prefer a kind of information page, where serious information can be found instead of all these common places of "What is new and why it is soooo cool ..." BTW: I like the new design.

Can somebody tell my a page where I can get such announcements instead of the "Wow it's cool... more »

Auerbach's Cellar

Happy Friday, G+!

Maybe the one or other of you knows Dr. Faust from J.W.v. Goethe. Well, then you know the scene in Auerbach's Cellar ( Auerbachs Keller in German). According to legend, the alchemist Dr. Johann Georg Faust once rode a wine barrel from the cellar to the street at Auerbach's Cellar, something he could have accomplished only with the help of the Devil. It is the best known and second oldest restaurant in Leipzig, Germany. This Cellar is located below the Mädlerpassage, and we visited the passage at the small #LEphotowalk .

it goes up, or not?

Sometimes it is urgent to change some stuff. But an old wise says too: never change a running system!
Well, the new G+ design and some other changes are really not bad. It cost time, to get used to it, and then are all happy.
But what at the moment really not work is the share of single photos. The albumshare works great, but it must be possible to share a single photo from a album without create a new album! So as the last time, so we can organize our portfolio...

The Carillon

at a bookstore in the old town of Wernigerode ( #Harz ) consists of 18 bells and is heard daily 12:00, 03:00 pm and 05:00 pm.

the lynx

The lynx is the largest European cat, but died by the intense persecution by humans in Europe.
In early 2000 began the first time in Germany with the lynx reintroduction project in the Harz area. Gradually returns the lynx in the Harz back ...

If you don't have a plan for the weekend, here is my tip:

The Oderteich is an historic reservoir about seven kilometres northeast of Sankt Andreasberg in the Upper Harz in central Germany. It was built by miners from St. Andreasberg in the years 1715 to 1722 and, today, is an important component of the water supply network known as the Upper Harz Water Regale. (Oberharzer Wasserregal). Moreover, for 170 years, from the time it was completed to the end of the 19th century, the Oderteich had the largest dam in Germany."

Falkenstein Castle
is located in the eastern Harz, Germany

Falkenstein was built between 1120 and 1180 and has been modified frequently since then, but still retains the character of a medieval castle. It has a commanding location and was never captured.
