A few shots from when 42wd Publishing did Walk for Wishes this year.

I thought I'd share a few of the pics I snapped from my phone when some of the gang from +42wd Publishing LLC did Walk for Wishes earlier this month. We would have had a bunch more but I accidentally changed the settings on the good camera and I, nor anyone else using it, caught it so they'll all need some color correction done to them.

Plus I wanted to test the new album set up.

My Google+ stream is now 1000% more addictive.

I'll admit it, I was bitching about, and probably will for a bit longer, the stream not auto updating but I find that I can't stop pressing L to update my stream. I tried to leave to go play Borderlands 2 but I'm still here.

I'm just gonna say it since no one else has - the new Google+ layout looks like FaceBook.

Doesn't matter that the area I'm typing this in looks nothing like FB and that all your main social controls are right here in this little window. It doesn't even matter that this content entry window has perfect behavioral modification the visual queues. Doesn't matter at all.

It doesn't matter that the new playout has created a content centered layout with your main social tools fractions of an inch away.

It doesn't matter that they managed to successfully cram everything that you used to have to dig for into one left side hidden menu.

None of that matters. What matters to everyone that isn't actually using G+ right now is that it looks like FaceBook. It's done a hell of alot better but it still looks like FB's timeline layout - minus... more »

No really, it does. I stopped at McDonald's for a quick bite, don't look at me that way, and they were packed, dining room and drive through. I got up to the counter with one woman in front of me. This woman ordered ten 20 piece nuggets. The girl running the register asked the lady if she'd just rather have two 50 pieces as it would be cheaper. The woman asked her if she was hard of hearing and repeated that she wanted ten 20 pieces. So the girl asks her if it'd be ok to ring it up as two 50 pieces but put it in ten 20 piece boxes and she could still save the money. I have to thank one of my local readers for bring this to my attention after the copyright issues I've been facing today. It seems that at least someone is being held accountable for stealing an artist's work.

I hate doing this but how can I claim to defend the artist I represent if I won't represent myself?

+Markus W has submitted multiple covers to #anexoticmatter  cover competition. One of those, not the one below [it's in the library and has a comment from me making an official request of removal, includes art that belongs directly to me. He is using this art for commercial intent without my consent.

The art in question is my portal art that I made for non-commercial use. I also asked that I be notified when it has been used as a port of another piece of art, neither my permission was granted nor notification of use.

I'm an Innovator Merchant - So I thought this was going to be bunk, to be honest here, but as it turns out it is pretty close to accurate.

The video is a bit touchy feely but the explenation matches up with my drives in this world. Shockingly, the characteristics it talks about are the very characteristics that drove me to found +42wd Publishing LLC.

Well I've really done it this time, shredded my shoulder and had to have a 3rd surgery, and managed to sprain elbow and wrist on the same arm in the process. Thanks to everyone who checked in on me while I was out.

IRS claims it can read your e-mail without a warrant

Ya you read that right. I found the below in one of Peter Smalley's shares and thought, even though he said it wasn't an Onion article [he likes to throw in irony and juxtaposition from time to time], and thought it was made up. Sadly, he was serious and apparently the IRS is as well.

The good news is that it seems like the various political groups, judges, and big internet companies all agree that the IRS needs to have its hand smacked and put in a time out.

In case you didn't know a good friend of ours, Peter Smalley, has published his latest work Emerald City Blues. This is what we had to say about it:

Are you the type of reader that sees what they read? Are you the type of reader who can "taste" and "feel" the world inside of a well writen story? If so, this is the story for you. The layers of conflict in this story are intrecate and more than enough for the most critical reader. The story has a Dresden feel to it without being a Dresden story. What I especially enjoyed is the inclusion of modern social challenges being faced by the lead character in a time with so little tolerance. If you're looking for a good romp in the rainy streets of Seattle where things aren't what they seem then Emerald City Blues is the story for you.
