The new +Guy Kawasaki book is here:
The price for the book is less than a latte costs in many places.
I have been following the writing of this book and I know how much effort went into it: My Dropbox was groaning with all the updates daily! :-)
Already at the end of last year Guy asked me to look it over from the Google+ heavy user point of view and of course I did, it was an honor and an education to see a master at work.
He had the idea down pat so all I needed to do was to point out a few of the changes that had happened and provide him with some additional information.
The book is entertaining, fun to read and even old hands might learn something from the tips and tricks: For Goobies or newcomers it's a great insight into the G+ world from a very high viewpoint.

As stated by +HYPEBOT tonite, the new FB Timeline layout for pages will hurt many bands (and brands) who used a 3rd party app as their primary landing page (such as +ReverbNation, +RootMusic...).
Same for those with shopping apps integrated... fans and/or users will have to find their way to a secondary level "below" the surface of each page...

Right Versus Pragmatic
+Matthew Inman´s "Game of Thrones" post is still causing ripples.
"Relying solely on yelling about what’s right isn’t a pragmatic approach for the media industry to take. And it’s not working. It’s unrealistic and naïve to expect everyone to do the “right” thing when the alternative is so much easier, faster, cheaper, and better for so many of them.
The pragmatic approach is to address the demand.
