Being an ex-Canon user for a long while I have found it quite different to adjust to the Fuji XPro 1 and when I haven't been using my iPhone to photograph I've switched to the camera and been shooting in jpg only. 
(I know, I know ... I'll switch back to raw eventually but I'm keeping it simple for the time being.)

I am incredibly happy with this photo.  
When I clicked the shutter I knew that I had taken the picture I wanted, no cropping, no post-processing except contrast and clarity and standard sharpening for screen when I exported from Lightroom.  

Taken outside the Melbourne Museum on a hot, hot afternoon.

My final five photos - a small series.  
The lily pond looked incredibly uninspiring from a distance but walking closer it became more like an alien world then a pond.
I was in 'abstract nature' heaven.  I like the colour versions too but the black and white was how I envisaged the finished photos.

It really was an incredibly beautiful day yesterday for the photowalk.  
Dappled sunlight hit the petals of this rather charming flower that was hidden along the side of a shadowy path.

Back-lit leaves at Adelaide Botanic Gardens.  This plant was huge, taller than me by a lot. I was in the shade but the sun was heading toward almost overhead and it shone through the leaves giving a lovely yellow-green glow and lots of shadows.

In the Adelaide Botanic Gardens there is a pond with a glass structure in the middle of it ... huge, and many sheets of glass placed side by side, very closely to create a tunnel.  There were lots of cobwebs in the crevices of the glass sheets.
Sorry for the absolutely terrible explanation but it's easier to see than explain.

Fellow Googlers:

I'm going to be very quiet on G+. 
The creative flow is not in me at the moment and rather than posting work I'm not happy with or that is mediocre I'm choosing to be quiet.
I will still be commenting on Project52 photos, as moderator but I will not be continuing with the Creative366 project nor posting any new work for the foreseeable future.
A creative urge is needed, a desire to 'see' or to 'create' but I seem to have completely lost it.

German Practice Hangouts
Because of my profession and my personal interest in learning languages, I am currently working to improve my German skills.    I take German tutoring lessons twice weekly from +Wolf Weber .    That's helping a lot, but we were talking about starting up German Practice Hangouts for English-speaking people who just want to get together and practice their German.  

If you want to join us, please add me to your circles and send me a +Notification.  We plan to start next Wednesday, September 12 at 6pm US Central Time.  Wolf will assemble some other Germans to join the hangout and help us English speakers to practice our German.    We'll probably choose a general topic from everyday life and simply discuss.   No mistakes are shunned, nobody is embarrassed.   Everybody learns.
