According to this study, we subconsciously translate words from our second language into our first, but avoid translating negative ones. I don't think I've ever noticed that.

I don't write many public messages because the people who've circled me are evenly split between:

- people who are trying to learn English
- people who are trying to build online businesses

I don't think that either audience is very interested in what I have to say to the other audience, so I mostly post messages to individual circles. But I'd like to economize a bit more.

So I've been thinking: what's the overlap between language learners and startup entrepreneurs?
