Great advice Francisco.. In my experience, the best thing to do after and update is wait a week or so then go back and check your ranks. Usually it takes a min for everything to settle, then you can see if you were really effected or was it just a hiccup.

Plus for every major update Google has gone back in and made some tweaks to it, so what you see the day or update wont be what you see a week or so down the road.

I lost some major ranks.. so trust me, I have to follow what I preach and keep the YELLING to a minimum lol
