Visiting with my mother, she went into the other room to change tops because she spilled on hers while we ate soup.

I heard her Skype going off but couldn't make my breathy, sick voice loud enough for her to hear. She yelled from downstairs "Is that the Skype". I again, exasperated, attempted to make noise then thumped the couch twice trying to make her understand YEEES!

She ran upstairs yelling "But I'm only in my bra?! I can't answer the Skype!". Now that she was finally close enough to hear me I gasped out "it's okay Mom... it's the internet!". She paused, turned towards the Skype then back to me, bewildered and said "a... nooooooo" and grinned and ran to grab her housecoat and let the call fail.

So I called my mother in my sick, husky-whisper of a voice at work to request she bring me delicious pho soup when she's off. She tells me right off the bat that the first thought she had when she heard my voice was that I was a pervert calling to get my rocks off. I laughed and asked her to bring me raw beef pho, she started mocking my voice, I was like yeahhh I sound like a dude. She's like no! You sound like a whore!! And continued to make phone-sex references in the same throaty tone as me. While I can hear her staff laughing in the background.

Best food ever when you can only swallow soft things and liquids. Baked apple (to the point of it turning into warm, mushy applesauce) with oatmeal, cinnamon, coconut flakes, salt-free butter, and coconut sugar (since I'm allergic to real sugar) stuffed in the middle. Not gonna lie, I mashed it all up and ate it greedily! The first semi-solid food in two days :D

Upsides to strep throat:
Inability to eat solid foods & massive amount of muscles built 6 months prior is causing me to lean out like nobodies business (3lbs in 1 day, and I've been consuming foods every hour or two just to get my calories in).
T3's to combat the pain has made even daytime tv entertaining.
My lovely bf is coming over to take care of me on a weekdayyyyy

I've been loving my early morning workouts & being uppity & prepped for my day, the only problem is that evvvvery time I try to hit the weights at 5am, somebody decides they want to come up & talk to me.

Is this just crazy morning people? Because the after-work crowd tends to understand the "don't fucking talk to me, I'm here to work out" rule.
