Wolltest Du schon immer mal sehen, wie es hinter den Kulissen eines analogen Fachlabors zugeht?

Die Jungs vom DSC-Fachlabor in Berlin wissen, was Sache ist. Und das ganz besonders, wenn es um das Analoge geht. Wir werden in diesem Workshop zwei Tage rund um das DSC-Labor fotografieren, gemeinsam mit dem Chef Filme entwickeln und viel viel lernen. Ganz in der Nähe des Labors liegt außerdem der Aerodynamische Park - dieser wird uns einige tolle Fotomotive liefern.

Der Workshop richtet sich sowohl an Einsteiger (wir können Kameras und Entwicklungswerkzeuge zur Verfügung stellen) als auch an fortgeschrittene, die sich für weitere Feinheiten des Analogen interessieren. Wir werden mit Kleinbild (135) und Mittelformat (120) arbeiten. Großformatige bitte vor der Anmeldung per E-Mail anfragen.

Heute mal was ganz anderes: Eine Musikempfehlung!

Eigentlich höre ich ja überwiegend Metal, Hardcore und Co. Eine Ausnahme bildet aber die Band "Tab Two" die mit ihrer Mischung aus Jazz, Trip Hopp, Electronika... eine extrem hörenswerte Mischung produziert. Ich habe also die aktuell erschienen 3 Tonträger umfassende "...zzzipp!" im Webshop von Tab Two bestellt. In der Bestätigungsmail war dann sogar ein Link über den man eine der CDs schon vorab als MP3s runterladen und sofort anhören kann! So toll!

Heute sind die Tonträger angekommen. Ich habe schon mal reingehört und meine hohen Erwartungen wurden noch übertroffen. Sehr tolle Musik!

Warum schreibe ich das hier? Ganz einfach: der Chris Marquardt hat einen Teil der Fotos gemacht! ;)

Es handelt sich um eine umgebrandete Petitax aus Deutschland, mit Brennweite 25mm, fixer Blende 9 und einer festen Belichtungszeit von ca. 1/50s. Sie gehört +Dominik Ernst und ich durfte am Wochenende auf dem Münchner Workshop #hsmuenchen2013 mal damit spielen.

Und ja, die kann tatsächlich Bilder machen und es gab tatsächlich echten Film dafür!

Nach dem wir den Süden lange genug vernachlässigt haben, wird es jetzt allerhöchste Zeit, dass wir das wieder gutmachen. In großen Städten macht das Thema Street ganz besonders viel Spaß, egal ob in Berlin, in San Francisco oder eben in München.

Unser Workshop-Hauptquartier befindet sich mitten im Geschehen, in direkter Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof und in Gehweite vom Alten Botanischen Garten. Der Maximiliansplatz ist gleich um die Ecke und wir sind nur drei S-Bahn-Stationen entfernt vom Marienplatz.

TFTTF episode 40 was one of those ad-hoc things that I did now and then. Recording tech has dramatically changed since, on ep. 40 I used an old HP palmtop, now some 550 episodes later I get much better quality from just an iPhone, let a lone with a small and good external microphone.

The show has always been a bit of a moving target - I need it to be that way, I love to mix it up and not stick 100 percent to a fixed format, it's my playground and this way I keep myself interested :)

That's also true for all the questions you guys send in. Love it, love it, love it! <3 <3 <3

Still no good idea what to do for ep. 600 ... I should really do a big party one of these days. Probably for ep. 1000, heh.

Da ist sie nun die "kleine Chinesin", noch unausgeführt (die Wasserwaage auf der Frontstandarte ist inzwischen auch eingesteckt).

Bis zum Urlaub Mitte Mai in Irland muss ich jetzt tüchtig üben, bis ich mit dem Aufbau wenigstens ungefähr so schnell bin, wie mit meiner Graflex. Bisher überwiegt noch Ehrfurcht und die steht mir eher im Weg. ;-)

Na toll, da schnappt man von +Chris Marquardt was auf einem Workshop auf und pfutsch,..... klappt das auch noch. Na super und jetzt ist der A/D Wandler von meinem Scanner am Ende. Aber die Belichtungsrange ist geil :-)
Rollei IR 400 (ohne IR Filter) gepullt auf ISO 100; entwickelt in HC-110 7:50min bei 20°C; 1 min Vorwässern.

Iceland in Winter is both visually breathtaking and a great cultural experience. In 2014 Chris Marquardt and Monika Andrae will take a group of 10 photographers on a full board six-day tour and photo workshop to Iceland to take pictures of black lava beaches, blue glaciers, the original Geyser and — if we're just a little bit lucky — a good dose of Aurora Borealis.
