Here is a brand new image, photographed on Sunday morning as Sydney woke up to a very thick fog. It persisted for several hours, long enough to be able to capture the sun behind the upper arch of Sydney Harbour Bridge. As the East side of the Harbour was progressively clearing the bridge looked very different depending on the point of view. I chose to photograph the darkest side, and pick on a passing sailboat to give the image a sense of scale. It doesn’t matter how many times I have walked by and on the bridge, I am always impressed by this gigantic structure, and on that morning the light and atmosphere were perfect to produce an image I had long thought of. I hope you like it.

I have re-designed the galleries on my website, have a look and let me know what you think: http://www.jeromebphoto.com/
The team at Photoshelter is currently working on new templates. The new themes will initially provide support for showing images up to 1400px, and eventually 2000px.
The new themes will be designed to be "responsive" (detect the size of the visitor's screen and serve up an appropriately sized image automatically), an option which is much needed on Ps.
Looking forward to these new features, maybe the occasion to develop a brand new website customising this upgraded platform to come.

Here's one of me while shooting the bridge on Sunday morning. You could have cut through the fog with a knife. Thanks to legendary sailing photographer Andrea Francolini (http://www.afrancolini.com)

Really stocked, especially considering how high the level is again this year, some incredible photos. Maroubra on fire, South of Sydney, Australia
The North end of Maroubra is one of the most photographed portion of Sydney's coastline, but sunrises like this one are rare. The combination with the right tides and sea conditions is a one in a year opportunity. The rocks were wet enough to reflect the intense red and yellow colours and this small arch seemed to come out of the landscape like I have never seen it before.
Equipment: Nikon D800e, Nikkor 16-35mm, Lee graduated neutral density filters x2.
