So how awesome is SA today? I'm still away on a long and challenging shoot, and the weather is not being kind.
Still my heart is back home and it rains in Pretoria and who knows what's happening in the Cape.

Greetings peeps from the other side of the world, from late spring in the UK. From the order and function of London
It's grey, cold, raining and full of people , many are wondering around with scarves, hats and boots.
War muffs are worn in the same we wear our sunglasses.
Still it's much closer to final destination. Moral dilemma, our community is about travel in SA, so any photos from Tuscany permitted or no?
I need guidance from the norty and everyone else waking on a Monday morning.

Riddick Full Trailer
So here's the full trailer for the upcoming Riddick movie and we get a lot of Vin Diesel speaking in a silly voice.
But that apart it does look like it's got the potential to be a solid action movie in the way that Pitch Black was. Story goes as follows:
Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.
As well as Vin Diesel we've got Karl Urban and Katee Sackhoff (which should improve the acting a bit). Also ... more »

Cape View Clifton.
A boutique hotel overlooking the best view in Clifton. Great place, super breakfasts and evening meals.
I had wanted to photograph this property for several years and was approached last September. We had 3 amazing days shooting the property and today was staff and the owners shoot.
This was the view 30 mins before the cold front closed up the view.
Their website is actually one of my favourite shoots and I consider it my portfolio piece.
Nice sunset as well!

Aquaponics - the use of a closed loop system to grow vegetables using fish to supply the nutrients and the vegetables to clean and oxygenate the water.
It typically uses 10% of the water that traditional agriculture uses.
This has to only be a good thing as we will have more conflict over water before the end of this decade.

You can see the Big Hole and the mess of mining.

Want to find out more about South Africa? Talk to the locals who live there, love there and travel, work and experience the real South Africa.
It's an amazing place and whilst there are seldom lions and elephants walking the streets, you will see them in many reserves.
Welcome to Travel South Africa.

On my way to Johannesburg, Pretoria and Witbank for a weeks work.
Would love to catch up with any G+'ers in the area. We had a good catch up in Cape Town some months ago, so happy to do the same.
Saturday 11th May I will be somewhere around Midrand from about 13:00 to 15:00

Welcome to the 11 members who have just been accepted to the community.
Apologies for the delay in processing the acceptances, but you are very welcome.
Please read through the guidelines in the Rules About Photos and share with us up to 3 of your best Nature in Monochrome images.
If you would like people to comment on your images, please put them in the photo critique section, and please add some comments to your photograph, not just a title, you want people to comment so explain a little about the image.
If you do comment on images remember that we are all here to share images, to grow as photographers, so keep any comments or criticisms fair and polite, and give reasons for your comments.
It is so useful to get other peoples ideas and views, they do see things differently and may well notice something in a shot that you as the photographer and editor did not.
