Long time ago me and +Isabelle Fortin were talking about #DailyMusicThemes , we did start this crazy project and we had lots of fun sharing and listening great music. 
One day Mr. Folletto got really busy and almost disappeared from Google+, but the music is still here and some keep using the old tags, i've found
#JazzThursday  again in a post of +mamo delpero, and so i've decided to remove the dust from it.

I was listening this song last night, before to go to sleep. Enjoy!

Curiosity about this song: It was recorded may 11 1956, so in a couple of days will turn 57 years old.

Red, Mumford and Blue

Spotify List

I really love the new version of Spotify and now i can't imagine the world without it. I still have a whole room filled with thousand of Cds, but i don't touch them anymore. 

I would love to create a list of G+ Users on Spotify
Just to share our best playlists and keep the music going.

Fire Crab

As most of my fellow photographers already know, taking shots of Fireworks is also matter of luck. You can't just sit and wait for the best shot, there is too much randomness. So you just sit on the wet grass, your cam on the tripod, and you hit the shutter when you hear the hisses, hoping for a good result.

This was one of those lucky shots. 

This post is dedicated to my dear +Gemma Costa who curates lots of great themes and who told me about  #mirrorsandreflections.

Ps. I did post this picture this summer for the first time, from my iPad. This is the first time i open it on my pc, and i'm really amazed by the results.

Fotografando Firenze

Today i received the scans of my last film, and i must say that after this long wait i'm satisfied with the results.
Most of the shots were taken by night in Firenze, but with low Iso and no tripod it was pretty hard to take long exposures. This is the first shot of roll and it wasnt too dark so the result is acceptable.

This shot is deidcated to the LomoB/W Master +Victor Bezrukov, and to all the gang. You should get an old Leica too and start using it, mate!

Una Giornata Piovosa al Lago
Ovvero la felice storia di una chiesa gialla ed un ombrello rosso.

Questa foto risale all'anno scorso e a riguardarla mi fa venire voglia di tornare ad Orta. Era una giornata di fine estate anche se i nuvoloni carichi di pioggia facevano pensare ad un autunno innoltrato.
Da quella strana gita sono tornato con diversi scatti e questo è uno dei miei favoriti. E' il mio primo tentativo di desaturazione dei colori, e penso che rimarrà anche l'unico e solo.
La giornata piovosa chiamava per il bianco e nero, ma quell'ombrello non sembrava essere d'accordo. E già che ho voluto lasciarlo lì in mezzo, rosso acceso, potevo mica togliere il giallo alla chiesa?

Chi di voi ha fatto altre foto in questo borgo meraviglioso? Mi piacerebbe vederne alcune, se ne avete, postate qualche link nei commenti :)

Why every picture of the Arno must feature Il Ponte Vecchio? Did you ever take a look at the other side of the bridge? Isn't wonderful?

E' un po' che osservo i post di questa community, e che mi dico che è tempo di postare qualcosa. Poi il lavoro mi travolge e sparisco come sempre. Ma questo è il mio amaro destino su G+.

Mumford in Red

How come? Finally a day free? Yes, national holiday here, so i can waste my time sleeping, playing to Sim City, working to my music Top1000 and editing some pictures.

The Earth from Above

Few weeks ago i had the chance to see the International Space Station move fast above my head. I got curious and i started to follow +Chris Hadfield and his beautiful shots of our tiny planet. The Art of Making a Tape

"To me, making a tape is like writing a letter — there's a lot of erasing and rethinking and starting again. A good compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do. You've got to kick off with a corker, to hold the attention (I started with "Got to Get You Off My Mind", but then realized that she might not get any further than track one, side one if I delivered what she wanted straightaway, so I buried it in the middle of side two), and then you've got to up it a notch, or cool it a notch, and you can't have white music and black music together, unless the white music sounds like black music, and you can't have two tracks by the same artist side by side, unless you've done the whole thing in pairs and...oh, there are loads of rules."

Good Night World

Almost 20 years ago, a very small venue, less than 2000 lucky losers and a great band climbing the stair of fame. It was an great concert, even if no one on the stage or in the croud would have bet on how big Radiohead would have become in a couple of years.

Mumford and Sons - Vintage Shot

Master Folletto is back, at least for a little while. My Nikon fell on the ground and now it's in a box waiting to be repaired, so i didn't had many photos to post here. But the last weekend i did go to see Mumford and Sons twice (Milano and Firenze) and i did bring with me my old Leica IIIB (https://plus.google.com/photos/104316443417435189825/albums/5635262127763019201/5658612952475791682).

It's a totally different feeling for so many reasons but the one i loved most is the fact i had to wait a whole week to see my shots.

So this is one of them, camera above my head, no lightmeter, no autofocus, nothing... Straight out of the Film.

Hunger

Woah, i'm back posting some pictures. And no, it's not a breathtaking landscape, or a beautiful portrait (i still don't master that), or a striking black and white abstract...

Well, It's Just My Lunch

I wanted to snap the first burger i made, but i was too hungry and phone battery died before i could open instagram... But the second baby looked too nice i felt i had to go upstairs and take my cam. So yes, this is my first shot with my new 50mm.

I had a rough couple of weeks, but it's time to rejoice. As i've learned that tears don't mend injuries.

And if you want to know, this one tasted even better than the first.
