If you have to wait to see undeniable proof of the tiger in the jungle to know you're in danger, it's usually too late.

Many thanks to all of you who tested the online theme editor and sent your feedback!
I listened and added the features and enhancements you told me where the most important. Among others:
- a totally revamped, absolutely powerful, "firebug / web inspector like" CSS editor
- ability to start a theme from scratch
- ability to export to a simple HTML5/CSS theme (in addition to the WordPress export)
- support for the latest two versions of all the major browsers except IE9
- a new name "Make A Theme" (several people said the old name read like "Theme Enemy")
- a new homepage
- plenty of other small enhancements and bug fixes.
Now go make another theme, and keep sending the feedback! ;)

"Air Fuel Synthesis in Stockton-on-Tees has produced five litres of petrol since August when it switched on a small refinery that manufactures gasoline from carbon dioxide and water vapour. The company hopes that within two years it will build a larger, commercial-scale plant capable of producing a ton of petrol a day."

You have to fight for your dreams.
People think that dreaming is easy, but it's not.
You start to dream, and there will be always someone or something riding in like a horde of Orcs, wielding their swords and lances, ready to destroy them.
Sometimes, it's the telephone.
Another time, it's the favourite show on the TV about to come on.
Then, there's the knock on the door, the tug on the apron strings, the impatient voice that calls you out of your dream.
Sometimes, it's evil doers who will do their utmost to stop you from dreaming, and instead would like to see you as a slave, tied to some machine, a wheel, just work, no dreams allowed here ...
Sometimes, it's yourself and that's the worst of it all, your doubts and fears and swirling memories from times where dreams were broken, didn't come to pass,... more »

Independence Isn't Freedom
In my mind, there's a lot more to be done when one wants to be independent. Some thoughts on the matter.

VICTORY! ACTA suffers final, humilliating defeat in Europarl by 478-39 vote. (New article)
Today at 12:56, the European Parliament decided whether ACTA would be ultimately rejected or whether it would drag on into uncertainty. In a crushing 478-to-39 vote, the Parliament decided to reject ACTA once and for all. This means that the deceptive treaty is now dead globally.
This is a day of celebration. This is the day when citizens of Europe and the world won over unelected bureaucrats who were being wooed and lobbied by the richest corporations of the planet. The battleground wasn’t some administrative office, but the representatives of the people – the European Parliament – which decided in the end to do its job beautifully, and represent the people against special interests.
The road to today’s victory was dark, hard, and by no means certain.
