Protesters are occupying Istanbul's Gezi Park to prevent a demolition of what many are calling the city's last green public space. Hurriyet Daily News reported that early Thursday morning riot police set fire to several tents and used tear gas and pepper spray attempting to force activists out of the park. Activists are calling on thousands more to rejoin the protest.

My message to my Representatives:
As your constituent, I’m emailing you today to urge you to oppose the Senate version of the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) -- H.R. 624. Protect citizens expected privacy and the Fourth Amendment. Tech Industry lobbying does not reflect the opinions of those who actually work in the Tech Industry.
Last year, CISPA sought to create powerful new protections for companies who wanted to sidestep privacy law in order to share sensitive user information with the government without judicial oversight. CISPA may also result in more sharing to the National Security Agency, which I along with civil liberties groups like the ACLU and EFF oppose.
This is the wrong way to address our nation’s cybersecurity concerns.
