Tack för alla som har fyllt i min lilla korta enkät om företagskultur, 87 svar har än så länge ramlat in men jag gör nu ett sista försök att öka statistiken. Så har ni inte svarat och har några minuter över så får ni gärna fylla i enkäten om ni uppfyller kraven, enkäten tar bara några minuter om ni inte vill bidra lite extra och skriva ett långt svar.

Enkäten riktar sig till individer som har varit deltids eller heltidsanställda vid ett företag eller organisation med tre eller fler anställda och som har varit anställda under minst två års tid. (Notera att det räcker att ha varit anställd tidigare under ovanstående kriterier).

Eftesom +Piratpartiet startat den här gruppen kanske det finns någon som kan svara på mina funderingar kring Newsmill.

Jag har funderingar kring att skaffa ett konto på Newsmill men då de helt saknar en support sida och inte ens har en FAQ vad jag kan hitta så ställer jag mig undrande till deras system. 

Första frågan hur fungerar deras redaktoriella funktion, de ska tydligen granska alla inlägg men får man veta på vilka grunder ett inlägg refuseras?

Sen verkar de ha lite dåligt rykte gällandes kommentarsfälten, jag har hört att censur är något som idkas och att man som artikellförfattare inte har någon möjlighet att påverka det? 

Sista frågan är teknisk, måste man logga in på deras site för att lägga upp inläggen eller kan man maila in dem?

Är det värt det att skaffa ett konto där?

Lite nyfiken på hur många som läst Peter Nilssons Rymdväktaren & Nyaga?

Det är nog en SF som jag brukar återkomma till och läsa vart 10:e år eller så. 

Dess religiösa undertexter är fascinerande och det är ett rätt intressant försök att försöka sammanfläta modern informationsteori inom matematik och fysik och ett sammelsurium av religiösa dogmer.  Böckerna är skrivna i den litterära stilen magisk realism av vilken Salman Rushdie nog är den mest kända föregångaren inom. 

De kan vara stundom rätt obegripliga även när man läst dem, som fysik  matematik entusiast försökt läsa in på områden. Trots att böckerna kan kännas rätt obegripliga ibland lyckas de på något sätt alltid fånga min läslusta som få andra böcker har lyckats.

En av mina favorit tjänster för presentationer, speciellt kul om man är en infinite canvas fan och gillar Prof Lawrence Lessigs minimalistiska stil anpassad för en mer berättande stil.

Också slipper man powerpoint och allt tjaffs med att datorn inte har rött version av office. Bara man har fungerande internet så är det bara att tuta och köra.

Trying to source a few old (past due date) unused epipen or insulin syringes to complete the Zombrex #prop.

Ive always thougth it would be fun to have a #collection of props, though the cost of licenced props have duscouraged me. Through the exellent #tested.com series "The Still Untitled Adam Savage Project" Mr Savage talked a lot about prop making and the Replica Prop Forum (RPF).

After getting an account there I got in to paper props and ge golly this is fun!

I've poked at the "Geek Girls Are not Real Geeks" topic before.

Cosplayers are often the source of this perceived silly notion that they are not real geeks. Why? I have no Idea, cosplayers in my own experience are among the most hardcore geeks I've ever met.

As such I'd like to challenge that with this post by Ken Levine of #irrationalgames at their #bioshockinfinite bloggamajigg.

#AnnaMoleva or #Ormeli as she sometimes go by, did such a fantastic job with her cosplay as Elizabeth not only the randomness in having similar facial features; she actually manage to capture the personality of Elizabeth.

Praying is the lazy persons way out of personal guilt of not doing anything.

Förvara dricksvattnet i en väl rengjord behållare i rumstemperatur eller kallare – gärna i kylskåp.

Kokt dricksvatten ska dessutom användas till att
laga mat som inte ska kokas eller värmebehandlas över  100° C
blanda med saft eller andra drycker

I'm sorry but could someone help explain this?

It says that infrared light penetrates the head up to three centimeters (about one and a fifth of an inch) and what I dont get is how infrared can penetrate bone.

I tried searching google and wikipedia, but couldn't find any info on how deep below tisdues the human scull is.

Male Geeks should learn from Adam Savage and +Wil Wheaton who time and time again point to the fact that we are all geeks at something and that their significant others are more geeky than they them self admit and/or realise. Instead of belittling their geekyness they encourage it.

A friend of mine works in a video game store, the treatment she endures, what little she has told me about, boggles my mind. And I admit, I have committed the sin of "Surprised that a girl worked in a video game store" once I was mostly surprised because I had never seen anyone but the owner, a heavily tatooed man with a great beard. Not an excuse I just never thought with is my point .
