So, +Anthony Mathenia has this funky Kickstarter going along with +Shane Crash - they're creating a classic pulp novel flip book. I have a thing for pulp double novels - I have a whole bunch of Endworld Doubles sitting out in my barn right now.

The books pull from a variety of influences, including pop culture, comic books, and grindhouse cinema.

We've conceptualized the book to resemble an old dime-store pulp "flip book," with two retro covers by artist Diego Galindo and designer Tim Anderson. After reading one story, you can turn the book over to read the next. This is the same format by which Junkie by William S. Burroughs was first released.

checks clock Yes, it's totally still morning. And what a wonderful, busy little morning it has been! The kids and pets let me wake up on my own (at 7:30? WTF, brainclock.) and then doze for nearly an hour before descending with boycuddles. Elder Spawn made cinnamon toast for everybuggy. Good times.

Today is the first day of my parents' annual two week vacation and extravaganza happy fun time in the Keys and on a cruise, and I'm still acclimating to the full grownup in the house workload as opposed to it being split three ways. Made coffee, ran all three of us through the shower, let out and watered the chickens, fed and watered the dog, watered the vegetable garden, watered the herb garden, watered the pepper plants. One thing I have learned from delving into the realm of CYOA-style storytelling is that it is CRUCIAL to have some kind of Master Sheet to track all the things, to make sure everything eventually reaches an end. This is my scratchpad Master Sheet for one I did. Maybe I'll figure out something more elegant, but it works for now!

So, it looks like we lost the ability to directly take an image using the webcam and put it right in the post? I can't find a way to do it anywhere, and ended up going to Photo Booth to get my standard morning selfie in here. Am I wrong? Am I just missing it? Plase halp! /Leeloo

I have have a friend with a photography question - where better to ask than G+? He has a Canon EOS T3 with the standard 18-55mm IS 2 lens. he'd like to get a telephoto lens for it, but doesn't want to carry two lenses.
